Using circus techniques, pyrotechnics, and video projection to create the visualization of liberty and the joy of flying, GLOBE is an alienating, fairylike spectacle full of symbolism.

Globe Holidays SK24CUH, a 2024 ADL Enviro 200 MMC, was seen at the South Yorkshire Transport Trust, whilst out of service. New to Globe Holidays in 2024. This carries a pride livery.

Cannon Hall to the west of Barnsley gained two bus services in July last year when the preexisting 94 was extended beyond Cawthorne to serve the site during the week and new service 96C - introduced alongside the 96B to provide Sunday buses between Barnsley and Wakefield - was routed past via New Road on its way to and from High Hoyland.

One of numerous Enviro 200MMCs to join the Globe fleet last year to cover the additional vehicle requirement brought about as a result of the company taking on work following the closure of CT Plus, YX21RYH (1215) is seen as it passes Cannon Hall with the 09:33 96C from Wakefield. The 96C operates every two hours on Sundays only, with the 96B - which follows the standard 96 route with the addition of Durkar - also operating every two hours at a broadly even headway.

Last Saturday afternoon and evening, we had a farewell party for one of the founders of Southwest Search Dogs, who is moving to South Carolina, at the home of our new board member, Sandy. Sandy and Bill have the most beautiful (although not the most expensive) home and gardens that I have ever seen and since I just happened to have my camera along (if you believe that, then you don't know me very well), I thought I'd try to capture the essence of their gorgeous place, digitally. It was the perfect time of day and I got so many good shots that I will be posting them for some time to come.

This reflection globe is tinted lavender, so it really enhanced the sunset, as well as the whole garden. The only problem was getting myself out of the photograph, which I thought I had, when I looked at the back of the camera, but when I view this large, I can see that I'm still there. Tim's there, too, even though he tried to move out of the scene, but I did manage to cut off his head.

I hope that by following this set, you will be able to see Sandy's creativity and exquisite taste. Both Sandy and Bill worked really hard to build their beautiful abode and it certainly paid off.

That is to say, the Intersection of Three Cylinders World Map. (Or at least, that's what I want it to say.) From a 1696 Armenian world map in the Leventhal Map Center in Boston.

From 98 lb. Mi-Teintes (or 160 gsm, if you're still using French imperial units), just the right weight for this model. A PDF for the bold, with a cutting template on the last page.

I feel bad i think I'm way too behind commenting. Please forgive me :(

Hope you all having a great time!

Because you can't see all the lovely great circle segments from the outside. It's like tracery on the cathedral ceiling.

Globe thistle taken in the garden. Bees love these and they have a fantastic structure. This one is about to flower.

Photography is about experimentation, challenges, artistic interpretation. Always pushing to become a better photographer and using new techniques.

The Alise water tower, which has a weather vane with a stylized globe, was designed by architect Wilhelm Bokslaff, built in 1910 in Agenskalns area of Riga, and cost 139,429 golden Russian rubles.

In 1937, when the tower could no longer perform its function, it had to be raised. Special recesses were dug in the wall under the tower head to allow jacks to be inserted. Lifting the roof up, at the same time the builders bricked the wall higher. Its tower was raised by about 7.5 meters. The thickness of the masonry is about 2 meters, the tower's height 40 m, volume 2000 m3.
