Globe Theatre
Banbury Cross, England hamlet, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Williamsburg, VA
This is the lobby of the Globe Theatre in Banbury Cross, featuring an ornamental design and a snack bar that's currently not in use. The theater opened with the park in May 1975.

CERN's 50th anniversary present. I'm not sure about this "major regional attraction" stuff, though...
We found a small patch of these Globe Thistles while walking along the Chesterfield Canal. The bees and flies were certainly enjoying themselves feasting on the pollen.

Took this in 2006, just after the Greenwood family closed their fifth-generation family business. The plant is now being used by a boat builder, cider maker and a chocolatier, with hopes for some small manufacturing as well. I helped put together a piece on Globe that you can check out here:

The 80 degree weather here on the Texas Coast doesn't put one in the Christmas Spirit...but it does make for a great day at the beach! Got a cute little Sno globe souvenior to boot!
