This beautiful globe has been waiting all year for a pedestal. I am using a large candle stand and part of a stained glass lamp as well as vitreous tile, millefiori, mini tiles, glitter tiles and whatever else I find.

Just north of Page Mill rd. on El Camino there's a late modern tower that houses a BofA and seemingly not much else. It's going to be torn down soon, but I've become fond of it's rigidity and these weird lamps. So long. btw. check the original size version for greater detail. it's huge.
Another study of what I now know is a Globe Thistle. Amazing how soft it looks taken with a macro lens, and gain, I love the soft blue colour. Amazing nature!

Banbury Cross, England hamlet, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Williamsburg, VA
The Globe Theatre opened with the park in May 1975 and is the main attraction of the Banbury Cross hamlet. It originally showcased live performances and then for several years it screened 4D films, then converted back to live performances starting with 2014's London Rocks. At the time of taking the Scrooge No More production was being showcased in the auditorium for the Christmas Town event, which has been running since November 2014.

Three motorcycles in a sphere. They were supposed to go up to 7 but a crash and gas leak put a kibosh on that.
This globe lantern is sitting on an upside-down Arctic Ice Lantern, which makes a nice base for it. The bottom of the globe is flat because there was air in the balloon as it froze. The opening at the top was made by placing the balloon knot-end-down over a large rubber stopper in a bowl, which kept that area from freezing (similar to the indentation in the bottom of the Arctic Ice Lantern mold).
