Given the weather most of us have had, it took a few days before I could photograph our new Harrier in sunshine. This is taken in early morning sunshine which offers both advantages and disadvantages. Once again , I indulged myself with several shots. This emphasises the distinctive GR3 nose.

The annual State Librarian's Breakfast at the 2015 NJLA Conference took place May22 at Ocean Place Resort, attended by 150 librarians from around the state. Aaron Fichtner, deputy commissioner of the NJ Dept. of Labor & Workforce Development, announced grant initiatives; awards were given for Best Practices in Early Literacy; Multicultural Programming and Innovation; Amy Garner followed with a presentation on Re-envisioning Public Libraries.
The previous evening at the NJLA Honors & Awards Reception, Deborah Mercer, NJSL’s New Jersey Collections Librarian, received the Susan Swartzburg Award. The award honors the memory of Susan Swartzburg, a librarian whose leadership inspired and influenced many librarians in the areas of preservation, archives and the book of arts.
The NJSL Marketing, Public Relations & Communications Department was honored for its innovative and creative campaign promoting the Career Online High School diploma program.
I recently got given a huge quantity of old slides with pictures of cities and other things. Will publish them if they're interesting enough to share.
Horse dance in Pakistan is tradition and Culture. On cultural festivals horse and camel dance competitions are arranged and heavy awards are given to winners.

Was recently given some 70's Tri-x to try. It had been refrigerated as far as I know all that time.
I stand developed in Rodinal for 1 hour diluted to 1-100. 20 inversions at the start and 2 more at 30 mins.
Shot at 400 ASA ( It was from the 70's)
After a bit more research I think the film may in fact be from the 80's as it is dx coded which I don't think was introduced until the early 80's. however if you know different please let me know.
I should also say that it had been unexposed all that time. I then exposed it and developed it.

Fjaerland, Norway. In 1981 I was given my first proper camera for my 21st Birthday - a Ricoh 500g. All my family took slides, so I did the same as back then it was normal to meet up for a slide show. The film is Perutz as it had to be affordable. This set are not only my first serious attempt at photography but my first holiday abroad. In 1981 the only way to get to Fjearland was ferry. I have never been anywhere so quiet. Now it is connected to the main road network and the ferry is no more. Andrew.

Given that the water temperature must be close to freezing, I think it takes some dedication to your sport to go out and try fly fishing when the air temperature is in the low 20's. Shot taken at Barton Dam (note the ice in the background) in Ann Arbor.
Given that this lens has fairly soft focus the point of this comparison is to show the properties of the lens with the same shot on different bodies.
Note the brighter central circular area on the effective (35mm) 1500mm shot from the D300, caused by diffraction.
The Darby Military Community hosted a Run to Remember 5k Run/2 Mile Walk to honor those who lost their lives and those who have given their lives fighting the War on Terror on 9/11.
The event fosters and aids in solidifying the relationship between the American and Italian communities as well as promoting community fitness.
The event was organized by the Camp Darby Sports and Fitness office in conjunction to the BOSS members.

Tamora has given birth to a black baby boy, the son of Aaron. Aaron takes the child, saving it from slaughter to protect his mother, and comforts the baby. He is overheard though by one of Lucius's soldiers who captures him and takes him and the baby before Lucius.
The soldier retells what he heard Aaron say to the baby:
"Peace, tawny slave, half me and half they dame!
Did not thy hue bewray whose brat thou art,
Had nature lent thee but they mother's look,
Villain, thou might'st have been an emperor..." (5.1.27-30)

Caption: A malnutrition baby has been given Vitamin A supplement at a primary health care center at a remote island in Sunderbans, India. In many countries India vitamin A deficiency is a public health problem,. Government takes initiative to provide vitamin A supplements to children 6–59 months of age to reduce the risk of illness and death.
According to WHO recent report, Vitamin A deficiency affects about 190 million preschool-age children, mostly from Africa and South-East Asia. In infants and children, vitamin A is essential to support rapid growth and to help combat infections. Inadequate intakes of vitamin A may lead to vitamin A deficiency which can cause visual impairment in the form of night blindness and may increase the risk of illness and death from childhood infections, including measles and those causing diarrhoea.

Easter eggs are special eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or springtime.
The egg is a symbol of the rebirth of the Earth in celebrations of spring and was adopted by early Christians as a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus.
The oldest tradition is to use dyed or painted chicken eggs, but a modern custom is to substitute chocolate eggs, or plastic eggs filled with confectionery such as jelly beans. These eggs are often hidden, allegedly by the Easter Bunny, for children to find on Easter morning. Otherwise, they are generally put in a basket filled with real or artificial straw to resemble a bird's nest.

Much of the province has been given over to several national parks. Top destinations are Hat Noppharat Thara - Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, Ao Nang,[7] Railay, and Ko Phi Phi. The province includes over 80 smaller islands such as Ko Lanta and Phi Phi, well-known to adventurers, yachtsmen, scuba-divers, snorkelers, and day-trippers from Phuket. Krabi's beaches attract both native Thai people and foreigners alike.
Ko Lanta National Park, also in Krabi Province, includes several coral-fringed islands with well-known diving sites. The largest island, Ko Lanta Yai, is the site of park headquarters, and is also home to "Chao Le", or sea gypsies, who sustain themselves largely through fishing. The islands are best visited during the drier months of October through April.
Kayaking, sailing, bird watching, snorkeling are also among top activities. In the interior, two predominantly mainland national parks, Khao Phanom Bencha National Park and Than Bokkhorani, offer inland scenic attractions including waterfalls and caves, and opportunities for trekking, bird watching, and eco-tours.
The rock faces at Railay Beach near Ao Nang have attracted climbers from all over the world and each year are the venue for the Rock and Fire Festival. There are several rock climbing schools at Railay Beach. The rock is limestone and has characteristic pockets, overhangs and faces. Railay has numerous multi-pitch areas most of which start from the beach itself. A famous example is "Humanality". In addition, deep water soloing is popular on the numerous nearby rocky islands accessible by long-tail boat.
In September 2013, I was given the opportunity to shoot for a non-profit organisation called e.motion21. This is an organisation that provide an Australia-first, innovative dance and fitness program designed specifically for children and young adults with Down Syndrome.
This is a series of their rehearsal leading up to a dance event called Musicool. It was an eye opening experience having to shoot this event as I had never shot a subject matter relating to Down Syndrome prior to this. The most essential thing that I realised was that these kids and young adults are no different from what society deems as 'normal'. Everyone experiences struggles and it is the passion that keeps us going. For them, the unity through dance is the core of their passion and joy.
Days before New year day Guruji had given Darshans for Matajis and Prabhus separately and Guruji had given satsangs and talks encouraging us all to sing the divine names with Him.
For New years eve a livestream production had occurred here on site to give the internationally community an overview of activities worldwide, including the inauguration of the Sri Vitalla Dham ashram and the Paranitya temple which through Gurujis grace have manifested.
The new years celebrations began in the temple with euphoric Kirtan getting everyone on their feet. At midnight Guruji began the new year with offering Arati to the deities gracing us all with His presence. The night continued with fireworks and then to the tent with Premavahini, a band from Croatia, offering their heart in song, leading us into the new year with Harinaam.
New years day again was a spectacular morning where Guruji gave us the opportunity to witness abhishekam to His personal deities. He ended the festivities with a beautiful talk on the importance of being grateful. Not just for the year but everyday and wishing everyone not just a happy new year but Happy days and that we understand the importance of being grateful for every day that has been given to us by God.

JACK is a young Poodle who was recently given up to the shelter by his elderly owner. He’s in such a matted condition that it’s a difficult to even handle him comfortably – and he doesn’t seem to have had much handling in the past. Jack will be available for visits after he pays a visit to our friends at Dog Stylists. Jack lives in Kennel P6.

Given the detrimental effects of insufficient nutrition on child well-being, learning ability, academic performance, and future productivity, promoting healthy diets and improved nutrition should be a high priority on school development agendas. To this end, FAO organized a regional workshop to present and discuss school food and nutrition approaches in Europe and Central Asia on 11–13 December in Minsk.
The event is part of an FAO project on strengthening food security and nutrition in selected countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia, funded by the Russian Federation.

I was given three rolls of 35mm Kodak Technical Pan (expired 2002). I hunted around for a development scheme and finally settled on this. Mostly because I had Rodinal. I'm only posting in case some of you still have some in the fridge.

Rodinal 1+150 for thirteen minutes
Agitate with 30 seconds initial inversions, then 3 inversions at 10 minutes,7 minutes,4 minutes, and 1minute counting down. (every 3 minutes)
Regular stop, fix and hypo.
I used 5ml of Rodinal in 750ml of H2O. That gives less than the recommended 10ml of Rodinal but the negatives really look great (full tone scale).
I had to figure out a curve profile as I felt (and still do) that the midtones were not right. Technical Pan is also a dust magnet; lots of healing tool. Even with Rodinal there is virtually no grain.
With this last roll I used a Yellow filter which made life easy to post process.
