For flickr group roulette and Standing on stuff I've done a few photographs in these shoes of late, but thought Id do a special one to show off their side profile and their kinky nature!

The Union Pacific 4014 locomotive (Big Boy) passed through D'Hanis, Texas on November 4, 2019.
We were fortunate to be there and ready to take some photos.
This was taken as the train approached the first crossing near the old downtown of D'Hanis. The crossing gate is just coming down.
(This town is great, and the people are very helpful and friendly, we're glad we parked here for our photo op).

This is a 4K continuous image from the Panasonic GX85, frame-captured by ffmpeg and processed with GIMP (down to the 500x size required by this group.) For this stream of photos, I was using the 14-140mm zoom lens. Had to keep zooming out, as the train got closer and closer...

Another view towards Götaälvbron. I'm standing under the "Lipstick" building (not visible here). I might post something later that makes it clear why the building has that nickname :)

The church is mirrored in Stora Hamnkanalen in Gothenburg. To the left, Ostindiska Kompaniet is seen, and far to the right is Gustav Adolfs torg.
This is made from one very dark RAW photo. Three "virtual" exposures were fed into Qtpfsgui, and then blended with the original image.
