Pennsylvania (United States), July 1863.
Two years have elapsed since the inauguration of Lincoln as President of the United States and since the beginning of the war of secession between the army of the Union and the Confederate army, between the industrial and abolitionist states of the north and the agrarian states and southern slavers.
At the command of the "blue" troops, General Meade and the command of the "gray" troops, General Lee.
From the first moment both armies reinforced the area, mobilizing many columns of infantry, artillery and cavalry. All the military strategies known to date were put into practice (cavalry saber charges, ambushes, attacks on trenches with fixed bayonets, incursions of small groups behind the enemy lines, etc.)

Todas las estrategias militares conocidas hasta la fecha se pusieron en práctica (cargas de sable de caballerÃa, emboscadas, ataques a trincheras con bayonetas fijas, incursiones de pequeños grupos detrás de las lÃneas enemigas, etc.)
