A walk around a visiting fun fair after the sun has gone and on a night when everything was closed down
The attractions featured in the Bray Festival are just a step above those in the Fr. Ted funfair.
Although the Fr. Ted one did have the Whirly-go-round.

The Ghost Train is an annual event in Chesapeake. The 1 1/4 mile main trail between the entrance and the Northwest River is filled with static displays and the "Ghost Train", wooden wagons pulled by a tractor, takes people down the trail at night where live actors are added to the spooky displays. The local community is heavily involved every year.

just a few pics in, I have a digital version ( L1020548 ) of this picture w/history.
Within a damp and desolate valley, east of the castle, there's a sinister old station that awaits the Ghost Line. Few continue to visit except for creatures of the night, and an "occasional guest" who may not need a return ticket. Grey bricks from the nearby quary, ebony laquered woodwork, and crimson paint highlight the eerie station. Sinister secrets may be found within, if one ever makes it off the train.

wandered off today to follow some clouds and light and ended up dancing in the wind on a bluff overlooking a dam, a bridge, and a ghostly train all in one small scene. I was really needing to do something different.... what do you think about the result???

Transporting the promotional "Bricktober Brick" may prove more difficult than imagined for good ol' M.T. Box. Seems something has been haunting the woods near the old castle, and the freight wagon has a bit further to go before it reaches it's destination.
Unidentified Helter Skelter and Roller Ghoster Ghost Train stored at Earls Barton showground, 3 July 2019. The numberplate on the Ghost Train load is SK52 OFL, which is a green ERF ECT drawbar tractor but I don't know who owns it.
After we bought the fixtures of the Miracle Strip Amusement Park "Haunted Castle", we brought about 1/3 of it back to Birmingham and put it in storage. It is odd to go to our storage unit and sit in the cars and not be about to ride through a haunted house in Panama City beach.

Haunted Castle at Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City Beach, Florida. Afer the car rounded the outside curve where the board breaks, it turns and heads toward this big fiberglass skull. The skull used to have water dripping out of it's eye into a small pool.

Unfortunately not many people in Australia celebrate it but today was a pretty good day anyway! I went to Port Adelaide which is pretty much like a ghost town and got some shots of some abanoned buliding and boats in blood red, red scale film. Then found the most amazing market place!! Bought some vintage carnival tin toys and a brownie camera which has been on the wish list for a while. I plan to respool 120 film onto the 620 spools since the 620 film is no longer available. Can't wait to try it out!
