Sometimes, all that is needed to be noticed, is to reach a little higher, be a little hungrier, work a little harder than the crowd.
The melodic cry of a Nathan Airchime K3LA rings down the line as an eastbound hotshot clears Pryor Road west of Henrietta. On the point of this intermodal train is a C44-9W, a dying breed of locomotives on the mainline. There isn't much time left for these old workhorses, so seeing them in action is something I try not to take for granted.

A few months ago I was already here to photograph the two castles in the background together with the road and this time I used also a modified telescopic rod with ball head for a better view of the curve. This I simply leaned on my tripod and secured it with a counterweight and waited in calm conditions for a few seconds until the swing stopped.
Then I started the exposures with a radio remote trigger.
I was very lucky with this single, first car.
A photo friend suggested me in a comment to this place to come in wintertime wen snow had fallen. I thought that was a great idea.

Eldemar a state of the art ocean going yacht built on the foil sail technology as it gets ready for its upcoming debut.
Took the shot on a bright brilliant blue oyster of a day in Kochi which the ignormaus will call a Photoshop sky.
There is still lots of work going on before the aerofoil sails go on to the yacht.

Since I'll be the guide (as always, J's driving and I say left or right) I figured it would be a good time to get to know the countries better. Bill told me a lot of cool things about Australia, some of which we could already prove to be correct, and the Rough Guides always come in handy.
