Every trip to Brockville yielded a wealth of interesting trains to photograph. Here on 12 June 1983 VIA train 53, the Lakeshore accelerates out of the station and across Perth Street with lead FPA4 No. 6791 puffing out turbo lag smoke while a GMD F9B assists.
...El destino se esconde detrás de cada puerta que decides abrir.
... Fate is hiding behind every door you decide to open.
This was shot April 14, 1980 on a dreary Upper Peninsula day. The 4407 and 720 had struggled up the grade from Marquette with 15 cars on the wet rail and had been held at this signal for an eastbound CNW ore load out of Euclid Yard. Once the CNW cleared the Soo got the light and is starting west again. A rescan.
My lovely neighbour Emilie is getting older and even more adorable ツ
Before going on summer holiday, I went over to take some photos of her in her garden - right before she turned 8 months old.

..but not what you might think now (laugh)
A few months ago I was already here to photograph the two castles in the background together with the road and this time I used also a modified telescopic rod with ball head for a better view of the curve. This I simply leaned on my tripod and secured it with a counterweight and waited in calm conditions for a few seconds until the swing stopped.
Then I started the exposures with a radio remote trigger.
I was very lucky with this single, first car.
A photo friend suggested me in a comment to this place to come in wintertime wen snow had fallen. I thought that was a great idea.
I'm a beast came to rip this spot up
Stick to chords cause the devil wears prada
We want peace but we can make this rowdy, stop
We don't want to hurt nobody
You can't hate me cause my nature's nice
And my heart's for the people of the world tonight
If you got a problem with it take it up with life
Cause if you try to push me it ain't going to be nice
I get wicked, wicked
I get wicked
There's no escaping it
Wicked
You wanna kick it
Watch me get wicked
Step up and get it
'Cause I get wicked

Even though this juvenile male Green-winged Teal is pretty cute, I am still looking for a male with full breeding plumage. May be before late fall.
