The photo challenge of week 41 was GET PUSHED. Another participant of the Challenge looked at my profile and gave me an assignment to take a picture that I had never taken before, or at least something that I would not normally take a picture of, so out of my comfort zone. He asked me to make a photo of something blue…….
I was on a short break in Belgium, in Ieper and the weather was not always good. A lot of rain, and luckily also a sign of a blue sky! So I made this abstract photo of the raindrops on the window, with a little blue sky in the background.

I couldn't sleep this morning and got up for a sunrise which didn't look promising. So I decided to try and catch some Dragonflies, just after sunrise and hope they were less active than I've found so far this year. All I managed to find was this male Broad-bodied Chaser [Libellula depressa] though I did manage my first close shot at the venue.
Sorry for being MIA lately, I have just moved back to Sydney and I'm only now starting to unpack and get my things sorted. I've started working on my doll display shelf too, which I am very excited about. It does seem, however, that I am short of 5 clover stands. Does anyone have any spare, lol?
James shoots Y164 as it comes up 4 track at HX. Personally, I had already been feeling awful that morning, and the unusually cold and damp weather added to the overall shitty atmosphere. I had to get away.
