Belted Kingfisher (female) | If you know me personally or have been following me for awhile you probably know this is my favorite bird here in Florida. These birds are SO difficult to photograph because of how skittish they are, but this morning I was able to lie down in some tall grass for almost an hour(patience is key with these birds)waiting on her to come back to the tree I had spotted her on earlier. Sure enough she came back and let me get a couple shots before taking off.
Getting lost with Soul2Soul. Step into comfort and embrace the warmth of a plush couch and a quilted throw or stare out into the water while curling up with a good book. Either way, I think you will find what you are looking for with this set. The Naturals set comes with the couch and matching area rug. Wooden block endtables for a more rustic look and plenty of art and foilage to surround yourself with.
Pair that set with the Honey Dreams Armchairs and half couch and you have a complete look. The running table makes for an excellent place to let the light bathe your potted plant or let a pie cool in the open breeze.

If you've been on one of my photo tours or read my eBook, you probably remember that I stress "getting low" when shooting landscape shots.
My good friend Buck Shreck heard me say it once or twice and now incorporates the advice in his landscape work when he's not shooting bears. Here he is taking the advice to a whole new level on the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park.
By the way, Buck and another good friend of mine - Rob Daugherty - are headed on a great photo adventure to Africa starting this weekend. Why don't you drop by their photostreams on Flickr and wish them well:
The latest progress on getting the pattern right for this kind of dress for MH. I...think...the next changes may be all I need (or, like all the changes made so far, they'll just show other places that need adjustment. Whee!)
These are Koginut squash, grown in our garden last summer, nourishing us through the lean times of winter.

God knows, I love Onion Rings. I got these yesterday at my local "The Habit Burger Grill" as I had a free Char-burger coupon they gave away for registering an email address.

Velcro wondered out to the clothesline as Averil was bringing in some washing, hopped into the clothes basket whilst she was halfway through the task, and stayed there while she carried the basket inside...

Google Review:
" I had entrusted Quality Taxidermy to mount my 10.5 ft gator head to commemorate a fantastic animal and one of the greatest hunting experiences of mine. When I got the gator head back I was shocked at how bad the quality was. It did not look real at all (looked fake) and it had cracks all over it and in places chunks of it were falling out. Worse of all it smelled horrible (not a chemical odor - like bacteria ridden putrid rotting flesh)! The smell was so bad that the gator mount could not be kept in the house, so it was relegated to the garage. However, the smell was so terrible that it was too much for even the garage, so it went into the outside tool shed, basically a waste of money and trophy. When I called to complain they told me "well, it stank when it got here..." no joke. Two years later it still stinks."
Maybe there's a reason they went out of business?
Getting star treatment tonight, as my only subject, is one of my favorite caterpillars, the tiny, festively colored Stinging Rose! I was so glad to spot this beauty this morning, as I've only seen two previously, one in '14 and one last year... I'd been keeping an eye out for one the past few weeks, as they normally appear in August and September! This is one of those highly toxic stinging slug caterpillars, so lovely to see but not to be touched!!!
