It is a shame that a young boy, maybe 10 years old, is already this fat. If he, or his family, does not get this under control he is looking at a bleak future.

It has been a while since I did something classed as a heavy edit and after reading some thoughts via a GTPlanet PM containing many people a few changes were made. And after taking the views on board, I am pleased to reveal the final piece which contains a GT-R as Godzilla.
Along with a few cars who would be a target for Godzilla. Aside from that my original plan was to use a few more cars. But in the end that wish couldn't be fulfilled so a few cars could only be used.
Work Done: Cropping, Background Blurring, Godzilla Outline Blurred a little bit, Humans Removes, FM6 Cars Added, Noise Added, Cartoon eyes and mouths added with some tweaked

Fall is (unfortunately) also a season of first colds and flu, so I made few get well cards. I used Small variety alphabeth to compose a sentiment and sweet apple image from Designer fruis clear set. Tfl
Having not photographed anything since December 1st, I just had to get out and shoot. Saturday the weather was good, so I headed out. Glen Helen was packed full of hikers, so I opted for a less busy location. George Rogers was close by, and not busy.
While not the most scenic waterfall by any means, it still offers some good scenery and is close to home. I've already photographed this falls many times, so this day I looked for different compositions that I have not already done. In this scene my goal was to catch the swirls in the shallow, splash pool below the falls. The green moss on the rocks helps add some color, to a rather dull winter scene. I'm ready for Spring!

57002 and 57007 work a Tonbridge to Tonbridge via Ashford snowplough test trip, probably the only time these snowploughs see the main line judging by the amount of snow we usually get. Seen passing Tudeley, 27 September 2017
After several months hard working for the show, we feel tired, and would like to take some rest :) and prepare to have fun in the party :)))

The Marg boys do a crafty sashay to get their work done quick in Camphora so they can get on home on this short turning day.
Such colorful birds, often taken for granted because we see them so often.
But look at this: an iridescent green head, yellow bill and orange feet, gray in the body and wings, accented with an intense blue speculum on the wing set off by bright white borders, a brown breast and a white tail with a black overlay that includes a curl. What an amazing compilation of parts!
For the big benefit we're having for moms cancer fundraiser tomorrow (Sunday). Mom says I gotta look my best and be a good boy. Of course I'm a good boy mom! We're so excited, this going to be a fun day.

For my this challenge, Ari, who goes by the name of Lord Nikon 12, His challenge was,
"I am having a great time going through your stream. You take so many beautiful photos, but I don't see any people :(
My challenge to you is to take some portraits and maybe start a 100-strangers project. After that, go wild!".
I had so many ideas for this challenge, but for some reason or another, none of them came thru due to my timing or the people I wanted to take portraits of.. Anyhow, I always wanted to learn the in-camera multiple exposure setting. This was the perfect opportunity for me to do that. This is the portrait of my mum who has come to stay with us.
The tree in this picture is a very old, tall tree right across my house.. I see it change every season..but it still weathers all the changes and still stands tall and majestic.. This gave me an idea to portray my mum and the tree together.. Mum has been a steady rock in my life. She has weathered many many changes in her life lately, but she still stands tall and weathers anything that comes her way with a smile on her face..
Ari, I hope you like this portrait of my mum.. and I am hoping that I find courage to start the 100 strangers project like you suggested sooner than later.. :)
Thanks again for the challenge. It was fun learning a new technique. I have to add that this is not an in-camera shot. Somehow when I downloaded them, they all had a very strong pink tint to them. I have no idea why. Will need to figure that out. However, it is a fun technique and Ari, I hope to see you soon again!
After seeing a mention by Stephen Downes of a presentation he did for the 2023 Open Education Conference called Open Learning in the Fediverse which is now, thanks to Dr Tesla, the hot topic.
For some reason I felt an urge to remix the opening credits to a favorite show when I was a kid, Get Smart.
Okay, there is a low resolution image in Wikimedia Commons declared as fair use, for which my use here is likely not a qualifier. Hmmm, How about a case of parody? To the copyright holders, if anything, my use might offer more people to look up this classic show, watch, and appreciate what a treasure it was. My use is not o steal or take away from Get Smart but to honor it.
Who owns popular culture? The rules are not written into law, so my remix is likely the most legal. But I will roll the dice.
My source was a screen grab from the YouTube video www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ6gdRfBW6c where I used Photoshop to copy brush out the SMART letters, and replicate with a font guess (Georgia) for the words "Federated".
Is this changed enough from the original? Leave it to the lawyers.
