The new Get Smart movie is now being shown in theaters. This, of course, was based on the original TV series, Get Smart which aired from 1965 to 1970. One of my favorite all time sitcoms, it starred Don Adams as Maxwell Smart. Long before the modern day cell phone was invented, Smart used an analog rotary dial wireless telephone which he had neatly hidden in the soul of his shoe. I like to think of Maxwell Smart as the world's first person to use a cell phone, some 30 years before anyone else.

Don Adams (1923-2005) was an actor and stand-up comedian. His album, Don Adams, Live? was recorded live at the Sands in Las Vegas in 1967.

With Joshua still with us today there was plenty of opportunity to get a shot of one of his friends .... some of them just wouldn't sit still!

China clay is dropped into the rear wagon at Par docks. Not sure how much gets wasted with the clouds of dust emitted. Once these wagons are loaded the train will roll forward pick up one of the pairs of wagons onto the back of the four and back up for loading before repeating with the other pair, or maybe two pairs. Getting to a full train load is a steady process, taking several hours and involving quite a bit of back and forth. Best viewed large..

I wanna give that CSI Miami feel...but i think i failed miserably :D

Happy Caturday Everyone...!

It's 9:30pm and I'm just starting my Reviews... If I don't get to your photo tonight, I'll try and get to it tomorrow...!

Thank you for the very kind and encouraging comments beneath

this photo...! Your support is very greatly appreciated.

Don't pretend like you want to be here.

It's clear your mind is somewhere else.

Leave me to bask in my own glory.

Quit the act.

It's clear your mind is somewhere else.

Leave me to bask in my own glory.

You play me like another fool.

Cover me with a jester hat.

I will not be covered any longer.

You will back the fuck down.

Take a step back.

Look at yourself.

See all the lies?

Just give up now.

Raise yourself up from this mess.

I know how you feel.

What you're going through.

But I'm beyond that you sunk down.

Get your satisfaction. Get your fix.

Just know I will not clean up your fucking mess.

The day was filled with getting use to a Pentax K5 and shooting from a blind. Found a lot of functions I had never used before. What a great day.

I am a colorful kind of a photographer painter ... but when I get brave and edit for B&W, I always love it! Don't know why I hesitate ... my world just needs all the bright and glorious color I can get me thinks!

It's never good to be "too serious" or to frown too much. It's always good to look at the positive side of things.. The glass half full. No matter what.

This type of thinking ensures a happier life. A better mood. A great attitude. Less depression.

When I start to feel depression or anxiety creeping up, I do my best to push it aside.. and GET SILLY!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I've always been a bit silly once you get to know me. But it's always important to never be too serious.. too sad. Because Life is TOO SHORT.

Smile. Laugh. & GET SILLY!!

Catching wildlife doing their job is an uncertain task. Bad light, fog, distance and movement all combined to make this shot more difficult.

This eagle was a couple of hundred yards away flying through trees while carrying his latest load from Menards as he is busy fortifying a nest to raise young ones in a few weeks.

Eagles in Minnesota can lay eggs anytime from January through March. Building and maintaining their nest is a continuous job as each year they contribute more as they develop a nest that can reach six feet in diameter and height and weigh up to a ton.

Both sexes work at building the nest but it is the female that determines the placement of materials, something which most husbands are well aware.

After eaglets are hatched and leave the nest, the nests are normally not used again until the next year.

I think the kits are about ready to leave Mom and think she's ready for them to LEAVE too!!!!

A great crested grebe (Podiceps cristatus) that just fed one of its chicks with a fish, some weeks ago.

Even though I was away on vacation when the chicks were small enough to be carried on their parents´ backs, it was fun to photograph them at this size as well for the first time.

I will show photos where their fish shows later on ツ
