Die Flößerbrücke ist eine Straßenbrücke über den Main in Frankfurt am Main. Sie verbindet die Obermainanlage in der Innenstadt mit dem Deutschherrnufer in Sachsenhausen. Als einzige Frankfurter Mainbrücke überquert sie den Fluss nicht im rechten Winkel, sondern in einem Winkel von ca. 70 Grad zur Fließrichtung des Mains. Es ist zudem die einzige von einem Pylon getragene Straßenbrücke in der Frankfurter Innenstadt.
Die erste Flößerbrücke entstand 1964 als Provisorium, um während der Sanierung der etwas westlich gelegenen Alten Brücke den Verkehr aufzunehmen. Die heutige Brücke wurde 1984 bis 1986 erbaut.
Die Flößerbrücke ist Einbahnstraße in nördlicher Richtung. Über die Brücke verläuft die Bundesstraße 3.

Grangran, you are going to need a lot of photos of me. I'm not going to see you for 3 weeks! How well she understands me! Next Monday Elsie is off with mummy, daddy and Roxy to Portugal for 10 days - she has a fortnight for this autumn half-term (because she has a longer school week than most schools) and I shan't be seeing her for 3 weeks . . . so I hope I have enough photos to post the odd one when I'm missing her.
This afternoon Elsie learned her poem for tomorrow, read to Gramps, and I played KerPlunk with her and hangman - which seems to be her favourite game at the moment.

The theme for week 24 is Down on the Farm. This is Percy a young sheepdog beginning to learn about sheep. The pup will be trained to work on the farm largely herding sheep, so is getting used to meeting them for now.

Looking back at the top portion of the John Haynes Ridge trail where we had climbed up from the North Prong Spur trail. You can see evidence of dust in the air, the wind was blowing through the night before and continued with gusts up to 50 mph. Trails were getting scoured of any loose dirt.

The crew of Delaware-Lackawanna PO74 arrived at Tobyhanna with a train of mostly grain loads for Ardent Mills in Mt. Pocono. After some switching at Tobyhanna, a cut of loaded centerbeam cars for Bestway in Cresco has been added to the head end.
