Foggy days in the city have become my obsession. It never fails to blow my mind waking up to windows that are completely white, top to bottom, left to right. The skyline is gone, and it's just magical.
This is an instagram pic. I attempted to go for a run, but it's like a hurricane out there so I took a few pics instead, went home to grab my cameras, and went back out to take pictures. Of course, birds wouldn't fly anywhere near me then! So the best pic of the day came from my iPhone, haha.

A familiar sight in (most) neighborhoods, the roti man has practically achieved mainstay status in the Malaysian cultural landscape. Delivering dangling bunches of roti krim and butter cakes to Malaysian homes throughout the years on their spruced-up bikes, we would say they have definitely earned a soft spot in our hearts. Anyone who brings locally-produced bread to us just as it's time for tea gets a few extra points in our books.

today was....oh i don't know.
it was lovely outside, even though i really didn't get to enjoy it that much, cause i was in the coffee shop all day. but it was still a blessing.
i should be writing my literature paper right now.
i miss garrett. he is in Atlanta.
i am really excited to see coldplay on may 18th.
i was listening to 'fix you' on the way home tonight. i am very emotionally attached to that song. in a good, good way.
i scarfed down my dinner tonight when i got home. i don't know why in the world i was so starving, but i've had the jeebies all day. shaking and what not. who knows why.
i really want to lay down and read for a long time, with no thoughts of tomorrow.
i'm going to see my beautiful friends Crystal and Patrick get married tomorrow. it will probably inspire me.
goodness... i am typing a lot.
i miss my cat. he was here a minute ago, then i went to look for him (because he usually lays on my right leg every night as i read before bed) and he just vanished.

CP transfer G41 is getting ready to double his train at the east end of Bensenville yard as a CP tank car train comes down the mainline.
Grrr.
Wasted a good 2 hours pissing about trying to focus stack a blob of water on this leaf.
I imported the images and followed the steps from previous attempts but try as I might I couldn't get it to work. The images kept on stacking up one on top of the other in a long line.
I admitted defeat and here is the one where the blob of water was reasonably in focus.
Unfortunately this is number 175 of my 365.
Ahh well, worse things happen at sea.
