It was getting late and the sun was gone. All of the elephant families had moved out of the Amboseli swamps to feed except these two bulls who had been fighting on and off for at least two hours.

Wandering up and down green hills, inside of the primeval forest Perućica.

Over a half century ago in an era of large farm families, it was not uncommon for there to be more kids than available beds. The words "get over" were often heard in the dark, especially on hot and humid summer nights.

Oystercatchers lifting off from the drained boating lake in the park. Every two years the local authority drains the lake through a sluice gate into the harbour. They then leave the gate open for a few days to flush it. At some point during this time, there is usually a littler pick in the mud, which is always fun. There are always small fish in the lake, so every two years some of the birds have a field day, as everything is easier to catch.

Eldemar a state of the art ocean going yacht built on the foil sail technology as it gets ready for its upcoming debut.

Took the shot on a bright brilliant blue oyster of a day in Kochi which the ignormaus will call a Photoshop sky.

There is still lots of work going on before the aerofoil sails go on to the yacht.

I am a colorful kind of a photographer painter ... but when I get brave and edit for B&W, I always love it! Don't know why I hesitate ... my world just needs all the bright and glorious color I can get me thinks!

Great Egret, second version. Beautiful old Live Oak trees and Spanish Moss hanging all around ... the beauty of Central Florida on display.

Turned out to be just a smoke condition from a laundromat vent system.

Get outta town! A sad announcement today from a once great heritage railway now all but struggling to keep its head above water. One I spent my early high-school years volunteering for, riding the trains from the baggage car souvenir table. The open baggage doors letting in the sounds and smells of the RS11 is something I'll remember well.

Overpaid management for a nonprofit and the township at their throats with getting things up to code in a losing battle against a local government who's made it clear they want them gone. The YDHR plans to move elsewhere but being connected to Metrolinx, the odds of most of their equipment getting out of there is low. Their slough of bad luck, covid shut downs and the director's raking in 6 figures keeping them in the red, any expensive move doesn't seem so plausible in it's current state. Only time will tell what happens, but here's to the memories it gave me.

Since I'll be the guide (as always, J's driving and I say left or right) I figured it would be a good time to get to know the countries better. Bill told me a lot of cool things about Australia, some of which we could already prove to be correct, and the Rough Guides always come in handy.

Consider this an admiration of harpy's excellent series "Figuring it out"

When we go to North America in the summer the two main sports on offer are football (soccer) and baseball. Normally I try and get tickets for Seattle Sounders for football but on this occasion I discovered that the tickets were very expensive and so turned to the Whitecaps in Vancouver as a cheaper alternative for my sports fix. This turned out to be a great decision as not only were we able to visit a new stadium, but also because while the Sounders were getting beaten 3-0 in a woeful performance we saw a seven goal thriller between the Whitecaps and Houston Dynamo with the visitors eventually winning 4-3 after the lead changed hands a couple of times.

BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Located at the north side of False Creek, it is owned and operated by the BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), a crown corporation of the province.

The venue is currently the home of the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Major League Soccer (MLS), the annual Canada Sevens (part of the World Rugby Sevens Series), as well as the BC Sports Hall of Fame.

Opened on June 19, 1983, BC Place was originally an indoor structure with an air-supported roof, the world's largest at the time. Following the 2010 Winter Olympics, it was closed for 16 months as part of an extensive revitalization, the centrepiece of which was replacing the inflatable roof with a retractable roof supported by cables. Once construction was completed, the stadium's new roof was also the largest of its type.

BC Place was the main stadium for the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Paralympics, the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, as well as a venue for multiple matches including the championship match for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. The stadium is set to host multiple matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including knockout stage matches.

My Exploration collaboration photo with Katie and Amy!:D

This is my second (successful) expansion and I'm okay with the results. I spent the first few hours of editing this banging my head on my desk because Photoshop crashed twice and wouldn't let me save it in the format I wanted to - I probably had to re-do this about 5 times -_-

I've never actually spent more than a hour editing a picture, and this took me THREE DAYS. I only used 3 additional pictures, and it makes me wonder how people that use 50+ pictures for an expansion can stay sane. I officially hate expansions (no offense to the people who actually enjoy them:P)

pleasepleasepleeeease view this large - you can see the details better!:D
