Managed to get myself an old Nikkor lens for £20 because there was a slight fungus on it.
It's not noticable
and has now been killed by a short stint in the the freezer
and takes pretty nice sharp pictures.

Still trying to get this snow thing figured out. Captured raw, preserved hightlights a bit in raw until blown-out values were controlled, then exported to tiff.
The snow doesn't seem as nicely brighty-whitey as I'd like though. Don't remember if exp. comp. was on for this shot. If it had been, I was setting it to +1 on that day.
My body still hurts from that 1st ski outing of the season...
I often go on long drives with my son, who has Asperger's, before he's allowed to get on the computer. Some days he's too antsy to let me stop to take photographs, but on this day he wasn't. I need to keep better records of where the heck I am when I find these things.
Was out exploring the streets of Paris around my hotel in the St. Germain district. I had asked if I could take a shot of the tables, and the waiters setting up decided to pose. Since I told them I would email a picture glad I nailed the f/1.2 DOF.
Getting ready to do a couple things to the Jeep. Top is off, removed the rear tire carrier (new one coming), rear seat is out, gave it a bath so thought it was a good time for a couple pics, here's one....
Taken at Pebble Beach in Marathon - this was on Tuesday October 26 the day before much of the storm hit - Thunder Bay was already getting hit with this storm...the sun broke out for about 5 minutes and the light was awesome - this is pretty much as shot (minor contrast adjustments).
