Day 26
October 26
My last day of my weeklong stay in Venice Beach, California--a part of West Los Angeles, I rode my bike on the bike path that hugs the wide, white sand beach from the Santa Monica Pier to the Venice Beach Skatepark. It's an amazing concrete installation. Skateboarders of varying skill practice and demonstrate their fast moving, daredevil sport with many--tourists and locals--looking on in riveted amazement. Gesture drawing of people in motion is not my high card. I did my best to get some marks on the page. March 9, 2012
