On May 9 and 10 the Foundation hosted a donor recognition event for the first time since 2019. Donors were invited to an inspiring evening with student ambassadors who are award, bursary and scholarship recipients.

A generous supporter invited the Iowa crew and guests to catered dinner at his private classic car museum. He asked that we don't reveal the location, and I'll only say this is in southern California.
It was amazing to see so many rare, beautiful cars. Everything works! As much as I enjoy them I'm no good at identifying most of them. Those I do know are shown in the tags. I'll be updating if/when I get solid info.

Over 80 people from across Canada spent four intense days of discovery, study and fellowship at Stewards by Design 2017. The participants from 22 congregations came with open hearts and generous spirits, and together with planning team, mentors, worship leaders and keynote speaker Dr. Kennon Callahan, explored how to share compassion, community and hope and unleash generosity in their communities.

I spent a generous amount of time researching and carefully applying these badges that came with the car.
I grabbed a tube of "E6000" from CrappyTire and used some masking tape.
I originally was going to wait until I had the tailgate repainted but that just won't happen for a while.
Now before you comment saying, the badges are too high for a late model 240.
I know.
This was the only template I could find on short notice.
I kinda like it a little higher than normal.
The 1980-1985 wagon models have them 30mm from the bottom edge on the tailgate while later ones, mine, are less.
Probably 10mm less. I don't know exactly.
But I know on the later models, the tops of the badges are aligned just below the black bit of trim on the taillamp assemblies between the indicator lens and the brake lens.

This exciting and innovative project brought together a remarkably talented group of musicians from a varied geographical positions and a broad range of musical genres and interests to collaborate over a period of 16 days. During the first half of July, the Mattress Factory converted the 4th floor of the museum into a practice area and fully functioning recording studio. The residency culminated in a performance of the music the collaborators have generated during this period of time and anticipate a release of a recording of this music on CD and vinyl formats.
The past has been generous with Teruel and leaves a Mudejar legacy that today is recognized as a world heritage site. Four towers, that of El Salvador and San Martín, that of San Pedro and that of the Cathedral of Santa María de Mediavilla, apart from its roof and dome, form this unique Mudejar ensemble.

The Japanese Christmas Cake. This is a staple in the Japanese' way to celebrate the Christmas tradition. This was shared with me by the Hayakawa family. I was so blessed by their generosity and Christ based love for me as their foriegn brother!
