Mi primer encuentro con el Atlántico (desde que vivo en Canadá) fue en una playa donde en vez de arena había kilómetros de piedras redondeadas y brillantes, de todos los colores. Era casi al anochecer y la marea habia bajado mucho. Esta región es famosa por los cambios tan radicales de la marea, que deja al descubierto el fondo marino. Me imagino estas piedras bajo el agua a plena luz del sol. Deben resplandecer como gemas ♥

Gem - Feral Mother by grnhswgrdn

Gem, also known as "Gemmie", is mother to five of our "family" group. Her chidren are: Runny, Skittles, Comma and Bobbie (all from her first litter) and then Puck (from her 2nd & last litter). She's feral and I would have kept her outdoors with my other outdoor cats, but at the time, one of the other females hated her and kept her from the food. Not wanting her to live a life like that, I finally trapped her and brought her inside, where life has been better for her.

But true to her "feral" roots, she still won't let me pet or touch her, and I'm allowed to get no closer than about 3 feet before she runs!

She's kind of a "roundish" kitty, so one of my nicknames for her is "Kleiban Cat" after roundish cartoon cats drawn by Mr. Keiban in the 80's.

This was our last night on the ship as we were steaming NW directly toward the Florida Coast, and the sunset in the west was directly ahead of the bow. Almost as if the captain pointed the ship directly at the setting sun! A magical sunset at sea developed. Magnificent! And we were headed straight at it! Was pretty windy, but absolutely incredible for the dozen or so of us out on the bow witnessing this. A truly awesome sea-sunset. Spectacular! Thank you for looking.

J'ai retrouvé cette couverture de bloc notes par hasard.

Elle date de l'époque ou mon fils Tom faisait ses études à GEM il y a une dizaine d'années.

Elle n'est pas en très bon état, dommage !

Je n'avais pas remarqué à l'époque son côte science fiction fort bien trouvé pour illustrer l'école

Je pense qu'elle devrait plaire à mon ami PdF

It dates from when my son Tom was studying at GEM about ten years ago.

It is not in very good condition, too bad!

I had not noticed at the time its science fiction side very well found to illustrate the school
