Zeppelin (or one of its long-German-sounding-named subsidiaries) now makes engines and gearboxes for things like yachts (which is the bigger thing in the background).
If you need them to be rendered I can.
The grey 'walls' are two 1x8 plate with a 1x6 and two 1x1 technic bricks on top, with another 1x8 on top of it then you repeat that and stack the other on top.
Black pins are where three 1x7 technic beams go.

Even six months ago, after the start of sales of the Ducati I just wanted to get an alternative. But one set will only make a motorcycle... Quite good, but I'll leave it for a separate model in the future. It was decided to create a car from 2 sets. The panels suggested only one thing-something futuristic. Inspired by fighter jets.
A little bit about the model itself: 3+N gearbox, independent suspension, steering, seat for a technic figure, opening cab.
3746 was new to Northern General in 4/1985. It has an uncommon engine and gearbox combination among 2-axle Olympians - Cummins LT10 coupled to Voith DIWA. Only Northern General's B-GCN & C-LJR and South Wales' C-FCY have this combination, totalling just over 50. Not sure if South Wales' examples are 4-speed or not, but the Northern General ones are. The gearbox should be D854.2, as you can hear the retarder working until the vehicle stopped, then switched back to traction mode at 0:29 & 1:23.
It ran on the 2nd trip of "Bert's Hong Kongers", which aimed at "roads very rarely or never normally served by double deckers", organised by Chris Martin & Nik Anthony. That was a long trip from Bedford to Cambridge and back. Signs of coolant overflow after running for 1.5hr at photo stop at Coton, and failed to start after a short break at St Neots. Chiltern Travel Volvo Olympian S764SVU was called in for rescue. Not a good start of the day, and as you may already knew, the 3rd trip ended in an "exciting" way, where L736SNO reversed into a ditch and had to be towed out!
I was delighted to see this Big French car on the streets of Paris, during their time they were very popular in Paris, however their newer and current equivalents, the Peugeot 607 and Citroen C6 struggle against Mercedes and Audi which are very common. This one is with the 5 Speed Manual gearbox and very likely a 2.0 Turbo engine ( i am not sure), they did have a V6 option. This 605 model of the Peugeot were never common in London during their time
Large scale Lego Rat Rod with working steering, suspension, gearbox, V8, lights and doors.

My gearbox was very tough to get into reverse. Turns out the yoke seat is missing. Should be easily sorted.
ideas.lego.com/projects/94765 As evidenced lately, I'm a rabid Homeworld fan, and to that end I've teamed up with legodrome (dabrick on Ideas) to try and make a Homeworld set a reality! The wonderful scout ship is his build.

5 speed Eaton gearbox out of the Leyland Mastiff and being rebuilt after 3rd gear started jumping out.
Very rare car this Maserati Shamal to spot in London. Has a 2.8Litre V8 engine and i was surprised that it has a 6 speed manual gearbox and not an automatic given its a UK Spec car. Maserati lost money on every single one of them.
Landrover 200Tdi LT77-S reconditioned gearbox.
Purchased this reconditioned gearbox from MTS in Stourbridge. The original gearbox had lost synchro on second gear.
I was told the LT77-S has an improved three piece synchro compared to the LT77.
My gearbox was numbered with a "56A" preifx and a "H" suffix, which means it is the S model.
The LT77 gearbox was replaced with the newer R380 on the 300Tdi Defenders.
I helped a mechanic friend to change it on my Defender 90. This job is not to be under taken lightly. We also took the opportunity to change the UJs on the rear propshaft, the A-frame ball joint and the input gear on the transfer box.
If we did this job again we would purchase the Koken tool to remove the propshaft nuts. These can be a bit of a pain to remove!

"Serial No. U51029. Fitted with Synchro 12 gearbox and showing 2,000 hours from new."
Unsold.
Weird 4+r design. But at least this one might work :)
It's possible to stick a second reverse gear in there, but that would be weird...
the layout of this is as follows:
2 4
1R3
It's so not weird to have the reverse gear in the middle...
