Some friends came to visit for a day, and we did some power-touristing on one of the hop-on-hop-off (HOHO) tour buses. We saw a whole bunch of the standard touristy sights in our wonderful city.
I gave our visitors advance notice to be ready when we approached this spot in the park, and the tour bus did not let me down. We stopped here for a couple of minutes for the photo opp.

The structure features classical architectural details, including a decorative finial atop the arch and sturdy stone blocks forming the gateposts.
