One of my favourite shots from my trip to Zagreb in 2004. Loved the almost tilt-shift look from using the Jupiter-9 85/2 lens from the other side of the street. Shot on a Voigtlander Bessaflex TM with Tri-X. A dreamy snap of Old Europe charm.
film from 2011 that I should have uploaded before now. oops...

sooc.
I made this panda for the CRAFT Crochet-Along. I'm sensitive to wool, so I used 100% acrylic yarns for my fuzzy panda (white Lion Brand Vanna's Choice and black Red Heart Soft).
I also tweaked the pattern slightly to make the head rounder and the body and limbs longer. I've detailed all my changes in my fuzzy panda blog post, in case you're interested!
if i was walking through a sad art gallery,
and you were driving through the night.
i'd feel rather alone,
and ill at ease,
beneath the brilliant showroom light.
if i was flying on a plane above your town,
and you were gazing at the sky,
somehow i'd feel intact and reassured,
if you began to wave goodbye.
HBW !

A "dramatic tone" in-camera art filter capture of an ornamental grass planting in Riverside Park at La Crosse, Wisconsin, with Mississippi River bridges in the background.
Smoke break! Halloween is hard work but you have all year to work on it have a happy halloween................................................................................
Shot with a 50mm f1.8 lens mounted using a BR 2A reverse adapter.
Processed in CS3 to give a film-like "Warm Vintage" look.
The shot below (see my flickr comment) and this one were taken seconds apart, with just a change in focus, but the two shots turned out so different.
This is kindof gross, it's mac & chesse that has been taken over by some sort of cool fungus. Cleaning out the fridge today, pretty much par for something in my fridge to get a little old way in the back ya know. Anyway, the theme for macro monday was fuzzy, so I thought I'd give this a try.
Taken with an SB900 full power about one foot directly above subject, and slightly to camera right. Fired with comander mode in camera.
Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/54.0

Assignment: PCA86 –
Deadline: November 22, 2009 (one week)
Image Tag: pca86
From: Lea and Luna 101 (Lea)
Mission: For this assignment you get to think like a kid again. Photograph something or someone from a childs point of view. What makes kids happy - how do they have fun - how do they see the world?
This does not have to be pictures of kids, although it can be. But, pictures of how kids view the world, which to them can be like one giant adventure.
WIT
We visited a friend of ours who is recovering from months of discomfort and pain from chemotherapy. She is a grandmother and gets to look after her grandson while his mother works.
Losing your hair from chemotherapy can be traumatic and is a badge that you have to wear during and after treatment. My friend says that her grandson is one of the few people who wanted to touch her head and he positively beamed when he did so today.
This was a candid image, shot hand-held (with her permission in advance) in natural light.
I wanted to focus on the hand and head and even though his smile was cute, I decided to crop tight to keep it so.
I did a little selective dodging and burning and added a gradient map for the black and white.
First, let's get this out of the way.
Yes, I take children's medication. I can't swallow pills. I take chewable or liquid everything, except for Advil and Excedrin in caplet form, which I chew.
Anyhow.
Allergies suck. My vision is all cloud, my head feels like someone stuffed it full of cotton, the pressure in my sinuses is building like Mt. St. Helens, I'm itchy and crabby and my nose is running and I feel tired all the time.
I also have this weird thing with OTC medication. I can't take a lot of what's available to me because of the way it effects me. Most of the stuff knocks me out cold. You want to see me hallucinate like a 60's acid freak? Just give me Robitussin DM. Want to see me wired like some replaced my coffee with meth? Give me Sudafed or anything like it. There are very few things I can take that keep me on an even keel while relieiving my symptoms.
Hopefully, 10mg of Zyrtec in the form of a purple dot will help.
Man, this would have been the perfect opportunity to tell you my purple microdot mescaline story.
Maybe later.
Right now I'm going to pop this thing and hope that it keeps me awake and fuzzy-free for the day.
if I was standing on the balcony
And you were walking down below
I'd feel rather depressed and out of place
And lonely just to watch you go.....
Everything in my house is either covered with fuzz, has something fuzzy in it, or is something fuzzy. mmmm... fuzzies.
This is my newest listing on Etsy. Fuzzy lady bug booties, lined with purple fleece! SO cute, sometimes I wish I had a little girl to put them on:) www.baybeegee.etsy.com
The texture of this wildflower gave it a fuzzy look. It was photographed at the Kiplinger Preserve in Stuart, Florida.
