This dessicated skink was a present from deepwarren, who's currently working on a series on electrocuted fruit bats for me.
It's proving hard to get a good shot of the eyeless skull, but I should be able to keep it a while and have a few more goes at shooting it, as the ants have eaten out most of the inside. Not much left to rot away!
Ouch!!!
Seriously though, here is a present I got for Xmas. A vinty Joe that needs some love. He's got some missing hair, partial eyebrows and both hands are barely hangin' on.
A great gift and a fun project for the new year!
Thanks K&M!!
These moths were so beautiful that I couldn't resist taking a few more shots of them. Seen in Columbia County, New York, USA on July 18, 2008.
A little custom ATV I tossed together from leftover Trouble Shooter parts. I recently added working high end RC lights to it. Now my Joe’s can do night time recon missions.

Look at how much thicker the flocking is!
This Timeless MOA is less than a decade old and has barely been played with and already has a rub spot in the front of his head.
After one explosion too many, Snake Eyes was refitted w/ latest in state of the art atomic bionics. Now, when blown apart.....He can put himself back together. The ultimate adventurer.
Here is a Joe I got from my sis-inlaws for XMAS!!
Thanks K&M!
Joe is wearing the latest in Walmart Adventure Team Fashions.
Also note the flecks of blonde in that fuzz.
Too cool!
The base Joe was put together from all severely damaged vintage body parts, I had to epoxy his arms & hands together, he has paper clips in his legs & feet to help him stand. I did paint most of his body white in case any of his base showed through. The bandages are made from a old white table cloth, ripped into strips & soaked in instant coffee over night. I glued & stitched the bandages on where needed.

Old Navy is wearing the latest in vintage style: a pea (green) coat!
Just a play on words. I like pea green and pea coats!!
Seriously though, here is a boring short story:
I picked up 3 vintage items of Joe clothes (this Commander jacket being one of them) when I went to a toy show in February. I became a drooling Zombie! My family left and sat outside. It was a little overwhelming to see so much Joe stuff in one place....in person. The room was spinning. Everything was just static. Ebay is a much calmer experience. I hope you enjoyed my boring short story!
Wharf Rat the new Adventure Team submersible spy submarine.
A few months ago I picked up a lot off eBay just to get some Trouble Shooter parts & a Intruder Commander. I was not planning on doing anything with the Sea Wolf hull that was shown in the background, looked like it was missing too many parts & didn’t want to have to hunt them all down. When I received the lot I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had won all the TS parts I was in need of & that the Sea Wolf was 75% to 80% complete things were just tucked inside of it. 1 big missing part was the bubble dome, so first thought was to clean it & use it as trade fodder or resell it on eBay. After looking around online at my favorite Joe dealer sites. I struck gold & found a Sea Wolf bubble dome for $9.99 + S&H. This is when I decided that I would make a custom Sea Wolf.
So I was just going to do a nice little custom (a wham bam project), but then I found some RC lights & I thought they would be really cool to use on something. So I called my Joe friend Haz & asked him if I should do a nice little wham bam custom job or should I go balls out on the project? You can just guess what he said, “Go Balls Out on the Project!”
So I ordered the lights & never looked back. Soon after that my old friend Bob the decal wizard of Academy Art & Design dropped me an email from out of the blue, bam another idea hit me for this project. Design custom Wharf Rat decals & see if Bob could/would be able to make them up for me. So I sat & designed some new custom decals for the Wharf Rat submarine & sent them off to have Bob make them up for me.
I still have a few little things I’m working on before I can call this custom 100% complete, custom divers wetsuit, divers propulsion device, & some accessories I want to add.

My most resent custom vintage Atomic Man parts added to a Wal-Mart Adventurer to make the “Atomic Adventurer”.
I still would like to add a LED for the eye, thinking blue for some reason.
I did have to borrow the hand copter from my other Atomic Man, so I’ll be on the hunt for a hand copter for this custom.

Evil Atomic Man Lives!
After the nasty accident with the cobra fangs the Atomic man lost both eyes & his hair turned black. Then there was that unfortunate accident with the bushman wielding a machete.
After many hours of reconstructive surgery he has recovered from all his injuries except for the brain damage that has caused him to become "Evil"!

I’ve been putting this set together for the last few weeks. Guess I am subconsciously thinking about warmer weather. Still need to find the orange & black crate.

I had some fun in the sun today with Zip Line Joe, he is sliding down a 200' long zip line set up I made from about 40' up.

I made up a set of AT Helicopter Pontoons from PVC pipe & some wall mount cable clips. The hardest part was painting them yellow. Can someone tell me why it is that yellow sprays like water?

I ordered this helmet on eBay, it is a much better fit and look to the actual Henchman figure than the first one I had planned to use. The other one barely fit on his head and the chin strap was a bit of a pain to work with.
