These two custom figures are from one of my favorite movies of all time. I have a few more tweaks to do to Ajax, I need to paint Jerry’s face & get a better cap for him. I made Ajax’s leather vest from some scrap leather I had on hand & Jerry’s baseball bat is made from a broken wooden coat hanger that I turned on my lathe.

I no longer have any need for this WWII German style helmet from Cotswald now that i'm not using it in my Henchman custom.
It's brand new and features a leather chin strap.
It's nice, but I'm not that into military figues and it doesn't fit on my fuzzy headed Joes well .
Anybody want to trade it for something?
My one painted head Action Soldier who is modeling it here could use a proper American soldier helmet or most of all, a rifle! I'm looking for a vintage or repro Hasbro one.
All of my Mad Mouse Custom Joe's in one place at the same time. I have been making custom Joe's for only about a year now & this is all of them to date. Most are built on vintage AT Joe bodies, five are newer Wal-Mart Joe's, & two are 40th.

Sea Adventurer with KFG. Purchased in September 1974 with allowance money, San Diego CA. Served owner for three years until older teenage brother gave the Sea Adventurer haircut and shave. Emergency hair transplant performed with hair from a Mego "Batgirl". Sea Adventurer fell out of favor and was left at the bottom of the toybox.
In April of 1979, the Sea Adventurer along with a dismembered Micronaut and a Bay City Rollers 45 record were chucked into the foundation of a new gas station under construction. Sea Adventurer currently entombed in the foundation of former gas station that is now serving as a pottery shop.
Lighter camo from the Timeless Spy Island set. Green beret from the Joe Collectors Club. Handsome mug by Walmart Adventurer.
In case you don’t already know, “Live Free or Die” is the New Hampshire state motto.
The official state flag of New Hampshire was adopted in 1909 (but its design has been in use since 1784). The flag pictures the state seal on a deep blue field (background). The state seal has the ship "Raleigh" sailing near a large gray granite rock, in front of a yellow sun rising over blue water. The Raleigh was built to fight the British during the Revolutionary War. The scene is surrounded by the words, "SEAL OF THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE 1776," and yellow laurel leaves interspersed with nine yellow stars (since New Hampshire was the ninth state in the US). New Hampshire became a state in 1788.

Well I did it, I broke down & renewed my Club membership for 2009 & ordered Magnum Power last week. I received my Club Magnum Power set today. You talk about thrilled first Joe of 2009, I surgically opened the package & put it on a wally LA I had tucked away just for this. I may put it on a vintage MOA with good KFG hands later, but for now it's proudly standing on the shelf above my PC.

Sorry I’ve been away so long, my PC crashed big time about 2 weeks ago & I got locked out of flickr for some reason.
I reworked my talking Astronaut, his talk box was beyond repair so I gave him a non-talking vintage body, a new decal & a newly painted cap.
Take care

Today I took fishing Joe down to Mouse river, I did see some deer prints in the sand & found a Hawk feather, Joe caught that dang boot again. The real name of the river is the Oyster River, but to me & my Joe’s it will always be known as Mouse river, mainly because it‘s right in the backyard.
