Hells Kitchen has a popcorn machine, which was empty at the time, however there was the little bags for putting the popcorn in.
Perfect for hand puppets, don't you agree?

I am not sure what this baby was but if it was his parents that were scolding me I would guess a grackle. I think it was a bit early for him to leave the nest. He didn't quite have the hang of flying when I first spotted him but by a couple hours later he wasn't doing too bad. Good thing my dogs weren't out there with me. Those tufts of feathers on his head caught my eye. I thought he just had down stuck on his head from the nest. But they stayed there! Looked really cool against the sun.
(I completely forgot to take a picture of Evie yesterday. I'm sure this won't be the only time it happens...)
She's almost 9 months old and her hair still sticks up like a rooster's comb. It's adorable :D
