La foire a eu lieu les 30 et 31 mars 2019 dans le parc et au château de Saint Priest.
C'était la 32ème édition. Le thème choisi était les « Plantes d'ombres et arbres à belle écorce».
So this is my daughters 8 month old golden retriever. To be honest I think she looks more like a confused lioness, but I digress lol. I wanted to test my new camera with my new lens the FE 28-70.I actually made a little mistake when I bought my camera. I’ve never shot a full frame before and bought the wrong lens meant for an apsc size camera. So unfortunately I had to own up to my wife on that one and sell it to buy the right lens(not a very happy wife). I was desperate to try it and I was extremely lucky to find a willing model for the price of a couple of chews😂 anyway I hope you will agree she turned out stunning;-).
Since I had the light box out from my raspberries, I revisited an old favorite, some oranges. My girlie went back to school today and I already miss her but am glad we are returning to a more regular scheduled time.

The experience of observing sunlight through trees is one of life’s “pure and spontaneous pleasures”.
I was like a robot when the 4.30am alarm went off, making my way to the bathroom before struggling to open my eyes.
The plan was to search for woodland mist and fog on Dartmoor. On the way I came across a beautiful patch of pink tinted mist at Cadover Bridge but reluctantly decided to keep going in search of trees.
Unfortunately the visibility was good over the moors towards Princetown with just a few pockets of mist in the distance. Bellever Forest and Postbridge were surprisingly clear too but as the sun came up 30 minutes later the mist to rolled in.
I nearly crashed the car when I saw these mind blowing crepuscular rays beaming through this tree. “Oh WoW!”
There was no obvious place to park safely apart from a tiny clearing 100 metres away. A nonchalant cow occupied most of that space and wouldn’t budge at first and needed gentle persuasion. It’s mates that were blocking the lane were happy to casually moooove over. I grabbed my camera gear and swiftly headed to the ‘tree of light’ to capture in camera this wonderful surreal scene over the stone wall.
A minute later the soft mist drifted away and the light rays vanished.
I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Although, having cow whispering skills helped, persistence and plenty of diesel in the tank driving up and down on the moors.
Feeling happy with myself I continued on the mini safari to chase the mist stopping for sheep, ponies and rabbits in along the way. It really was the best time of the day.
