I saw the weather forecast for 03-12-2022 and it said ....foggy so an early night and out before daybreak to get to Kinver Edge and it didn't disappoint ......plenty of fog and loads of lovely trees ......a magic morning
This photo was captured 3 minutes after Sunset Over Throgs Neck Bridge, the sun dipped below the bridge and right above of the condo's rooftop, plus a bonus - a plane took off from the nearby LaGuardia Airport! ✈️
We arrived at Little Bay Park in the nick of time for the sunset.
We had driven 30 minutes to a beach park on Long Island which offered a partial Manhattan skyline view and Throgs Neck Bridge. Alas, no entry for us, the Outsiders, because that park (along with all the other beach parks in that area) were for "residents only"! 😡
We hopped back to the car and rushed over to this park (another 35 min drive), just in time to catch the last sun, how lucky was that?!?
We had a similar experience a few months ago when going to Galveston, TX for this Sunset Photoshoot. 😭
Thanks for stopping by, I wish you a pleasant day!!!
Usually she is very skittish. Today we were at a distance between 15-20 feet. She didnt mind me following her around the yard and kept her eyes on me most of the time.

This photograph just a tad bit more soft than it could be, but I love the ripples in that push of water in front of her. Brings to mind the "vapor cone" (aka "condensation cloud") that forms when airplanes approach the speed of sound. ALSO brings to mind the lovely John Prine song - "Speed of the Sound of Loneliness". Inspiration creeps and finds its way.

The site is located on the banks of River Jordan at 380 Meters Below Sea Level, just 5 miles North of the Dead Sea, the final destination of the river.
River Jordan gives the pilgrims and tourists alike the feeling of authenticity.
This site is considered a holy place as it is where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist an event that changed human history and marked the dawn of Christianity.
Also, there is a number of Churches in the area.
Worth visiting. better during cooler months to avoid the Jordan Valley high temperatures.
