We have reached the terminus where our journey started some month before. I will visit the Metro again, perhaps together with Scott N, at the end of the year.
There are some fabulous stations more. Please let me know, if you want to see these stations at a later time or if it is enough for you.
Dear followers, you are incredible!!!

An impression of the staircase inside the museum "Stahlwelt" (Steelworld) in Linz, Austria.
The giant globes are made of polished steel and illuminated with changing colors. An incredible experience.
The photographer can be seen on the ground in the center :-)
A special thanks to Regina und rudolf.pils for the guided tour through Linz.

While waiting for the sun to set, we hiked on top of this limestone cliff where I captured Finding Fayette: A Ghost Town in the UP Michigan from an overlook directly across from the townsite.
**********
"This limestone cliff consists of vertical or near-vertical exposures of bedrock.
Like all of Michigan’s lakeshore cliffs, vegetation cover is sparse but abundant cracks and crevices combined with calcareous conditions result in greater plant diversity and coverage than on most other cliff types. "

I hope you find this interesting, thank you for your visit!
Not only did we arrive Great Sand Dunes National Park a bit late and lost most of the golden light on the dunes, I believe we also came at the wrong time of day.
Judging by the dunes' orientation (facing east) and the trek marks left by the day activities (hiking, sandboarding, sand sledding), early morning hours would be a much better time for photography in here!
Nevertheless, I'm happy with the few images that I got, for they are much better than the ones I took from the first visit (early afternoon, Sep 2019)! 😉
I will share a funny encounter with you in my next Great Sand Dunes photo at a later time, so please make sure you follow my journey!
(Ha ha ha, did I just do a good job to promote my Stream here?!? 😂😜)
Have a fun-filled day, my Flickr-friends!
A short drive up the very steep Flagstaff mountain brought us to Lost Gulch Overlook, which offered incredible views spanning from Nederland to the jagged, snow-capped peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park.
This was a popular place for sunset and engagement photos in the city of Boulder, perhaps you still remember this Lost Gulch Engagement Photoshop, taken about six minutes before this one.
There were many people watching the sun go down, but everyone was quiet and respectful. We all stayed for a little longer hoping for an afterglow but there just wasn't one.
Thank you for your visit and support; be safe and be well!

Thanks for all :DD:DD

The best time to take a shot of the Treasury is in the afternoon.
Before noon, there will be a mixed light condition (Sunlight & shadow cast from the opposite mountain).
Later there will be a Uniform Daylight covering the entire scene.
The TREASURY:
What is seen here is only the first & second floors, as the ground floor is buried under tons of mud, sand, and rocks carried by rain floods over the centuries.
The Treasury (Al-Khazna). A huge structure and magnificent architecture are considered the main site attractions at Petra.
The Treasury (Al-Khazna). A vast structure and magnificent architecture are Petra's main site attractions.
Established possibly as early as 312 BC as the capital of the Nabataeans, it is a symbol of Jordan and the country's most-visited tourist attraction. It lies on the slope of Jebel al-Madhbah (identified by some as the biblical Mount Hor in a basin among the mountains that form the eastern flank of the Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. It is believed that Petra was home to roughly 30,000 people and was abandoned in the year 106 AD. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1985.
Petra is best visited from October to April to avoid the heat of the desert.
