Kalanchoe Thyrsiflora. Succulent. In time, the plant can form a large cluster of rosettes, and eventually a tall flower stalk will emerge from the center of one or more of them. The stalks can grow to a height of nearly two meters (six feet) and the yellow flowers are held in clusters along the length of the stalk.

The flowers are very tiny. Their circumfrence is the same as a pencil eraser.

The Arch of Hadrian is an ancient Roman structure in Jerash, Jordan. It is an 11-metre high triple-arched gateway erected to honor the visit of Roman Emperor Hadrian to the city in the winter of 129–130. The arch originally stood at almost 22 m and probably had wooden doors. Wikipedia

The last night of our Switzerland trip was spent in Alstadt, Zurich's historical center of a cool mix of old and new.

The Limmat River runs right through the city center, divides the old town into two sections, but with a series of bridges, it’s easy to crisscross back and forth.

The buildings are a mix of architectural styles, predominantly medieval and historical, with a variety of colors and rooflines. The facades of the structures are mostly light-brown, cream, and tan tones.

The steeple you see here belongs to the church of Fraumünster. This church is famous for the stained-glass windows that were designed by Marc Chagall in 1970.

It's definitely a perfect place for a leisurely stroll!

I took this picture on the first walk with my Sony A7RM2. Attached was an old but excellent Canon FD 1.4/50mm. (Did I miss AF; absolutely not!)

Walking around in the shrubs and little forests in my neighborhood the backlights drawing my attention with this as a result of many beautiful pictures

I think the Canon FD has a wonderful bokeh and together with the Sony A7RM2 it is a wonderfull couple for going out in nature :-)

Mount Kyllini or Mount Cyllene (/sɪˈliːniː/; Ancient Greek: Κυλλήνη [kylˈlːɛːnɛː], Greek pronunciation: [ciˈlini]), also

known as Mount Ziria (Ζήρεια, Modern Greek: [ˈzirja]), is a mountain on the Peloponnese in Greece famous for its association with the god Hermes. It rises to 2,376 m (7,795 ft) above sea level, making it the second highest point on the peninsula. It is located near the border between the historic regions of Arcadia and Achaea—in the northeast of Arcadia, and entirely within modern Corinthia. It is located west of Corinth, northwest of Stymfalia, north of Tripoli, and south of Derveni. Several modern places are also named Kyllini.

Much of the mountain is barren and rocky, although the area below 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) is largely forested. There is an observatory at 908 metres (2,979 ft), at 22.67 east longitude and 37.97 north latitude. From the top a large portion of northeastern Peloponnesus is visible, including the eastern part of Achaia and Chelmos, the Gulf of Corinth and most of Corinthia, the southern part of Corinthia and parts of northeastern Arcadia. The nearest mountain ranges are Oligyrtos to the south and Chelmos/Aroania to the west. Roads pass near the southern and western slopes, but there are not many on the mountain itself, as much of the mountain is part of a park. The municipal boundary of Stymfalia–Feneos–Evrostini and Xylokastro passes through the mountain.

Rock wren (Xenicus gilviventris), Homer tunel, Milford Sound. Rock wrens are widely but patchily distributed through alpine and sub-alpine areas of the South Island. Stoats and mice are known to prey on the contents of rock wren nests. There is little information on how frequently this occurs and whether the intensity of predation varies between years dependent on changes in tussock seeding, which affects mouse (and therefore stoat) population densities.

With clouds. The first full moon in January has often been referred to as the Wolf Moon for centuries. Its origin comes from Native Americans who often heard wolves howling during cold winter nights at this time of year.

It's astonishing to me, the texture that can be caught on this beautiful lens, of the nature around us, that cannot be seen with a naked eye.

These flowers are almost chewable, better looking than all the best Christmas cakes (maybe not the taste-wise, haven't tried)

This lunar event is called the harvest moon because it is close to the fall equinox, a time when farmers often harvest their crops. In 2022, September's full moon is closest to the autumnal equinox, which falls on September 22, so it's called the harvest moon, according to The Old Farmer's Almanac.
