I shot a role of original Acros 100 for a series of portraits of my good mate, former teaching colleague and horn player extraordinaire Jim Lawlis for a CD and book project that he is involved in in the U.S.
This is not the photo that we eventually chose, but I liked it.

The Great Scutum Star Cloud looms high in the southern sky on mid-summer evenings and is highly visible even in somewhat light polluted skies.
The area is littered with stellar prominences, a patchwork of dark nebulae, with the areas north of Messier 11 being among the finest north of Ophiuchus.
This image done in my usual way by single long analog exposure. It was quite easily recorded on the negative due to its high surface brightness.
