C'est que l'amour est comme un arbre, il pousse de lui-même, jette profondément ses racines dans tout notre être, et continue souvent de verdoyer sur un cœur en ruine.

The ADGB Trade Union School is a training centre complex in Bernau, close to Berlin, built for the former Federation of German Trade Unions, from 1928 to 1930. Since 2017 it is finally UNESCO World Heritage. I've visited the place about 15 years ago for the first time and has a tour even inside the former school and one of the teacher houses. It was overbuilt by the GDR but luckily restored to its original slick beauty. During Corona we visited this place after a few weeks when we just needed to get out of town. The day was overcast and the place empty.
Latest news are, that they will build a new visitor center, so I hope, it gets more attention. The school is now used a bit as accommodation for Craft apprentices.
This view I would call the classical view for this place.
