The light really sucked, so I've oversaturated the colors and pimped the skies.

I love playing with perspective.
Kevin and I went to downtown Pittsburgh and walked around a bunch. We spent some time at The Point. The sky was pretty and we sat on the edge of the fountain and watched it for awhile.
(PS - 1000th upload! And I've been on flickr for almost exactly 4 years!)
What a wonderful day! Two terrific friends of ours got married. And what a pair. We couldn't be more happier for the two. Congrats!
We were faced with a substantial wait for brunch which gave me plenty of time to contemplate this great old tree.
As seen on Brownstoner!
One of the main ideas behind the from BELOW group is to find the unusual angle. Most of the time, photos from below show angles we can see if we only stopped to look up. Video gives a new twist to this, though: I wouldn't dare look up as I skate, to see what the trees look like from below as I pass under them... simply because I'd fall flat.
Not a problem with a handy camera...
Ok not a very clever title, I know.. ;) I ran out into the middle of the street to get this shot from below, of someone's combat boots hanging from the power-lines near the entrance to our Naval Hospital in Bremerton. No idea what the story is behind this.. but if anyone knows, I'd sure like to hear it!
