Quartzite sarcophagus of Pharaoh Thutmose I (GEM 45944), found in tomb KV 38 and created for him by his grandson, Thutmose III. Thutmose I was buried in KV 20 in a sarcophagus carved for him by his daughter Pharaoh Hatshepsut, which is now in Boston (MFA 04.278). Later Thutmose II removed him from Hatshepsut's tomb KV 20 and reburied him in this sarcophagus in KV38.

No animals were harmed during the photoshoot!
Riddarholmen in Stockholm, Sweden.
