Continuing with my winter theme of posting dragonflies & butterflies I've rarely if ever posted ...
I wasn't going to post a view of a Mangrove buckeye from below - because they are so dull. Ugly actually. But this does show how much they differ from our Common Buckeyes - though wings aren't open.
Horse-chestnuts are already awake after Winter :)
Kasztanowce już też się obudziły. Tylko patrzeć jak zakwitną :)

Adult Bald Eagle shortly after take off from its perch in a tree. Katepwa Lake dam, Qu'Appelle Valley, Saskatchewan, Canada. 6 December 2020
Cool experience to see the sun through wings from below.
As I passed their trees these crows(?) took flight en mass and swirled overhead like the viral videos you’ve seen on line. A fun first for me. Apparently these guys didn’t fancy my company in the least.

WIT: The chair backlit against the door blinds looked kind of cool, and lying down and looking up at it showed an interesting enough underside. In post, increased the contrast and cropped.
Made Explore.
Curioso el nombre común de esta mariposa: "Doncella tímida", la más difícil de ver (por poco abundante) de las seis Melitaeas que vuelan por León (además de esta, M. athalia, cinxia, deione, phoebe y trivia)
Dwarf irises shot from below. Things sure look different when one gets down on the ground and then looking up from what the creepy-crawlers see from their perspective.

AtmosFear
Europe's tallest free-fall attraction.
From 146 meters above sea level you fall freely at 110 km / h straight down, before the attraction abruptly slows down.
The ride starts underground in the basement of the tower, and from there it takes around 90 seconds to reach the top. The return journey is somewhat faster – you are in free fall for just over three seconds. Reaching a speed of over 100 kilometres per hour, passengers plummet back underground, as the brakes aren’t applied until you reach the basement. During braking, passengers are subjected to the maximum g-force allowed: 4 g.
