Railfan and photographer extraordinaire Dennis Livesey gives passengers a friendly wave as the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern fall foliage excursion passes Lake Hauto. Bringing up the rear of the train is observation car 30, the Glen Onoko Falls, where passengers are enjoying the rear platform to the fullest!

Not high quality but a good straight-on shot.

The brakeman (or fireman back then) waves as I photogrpah this train in 1974 at Griffith IN. I bet they didn't even bother to call me in to Homeland Security. Oops..I don't think there was HS in 1974.

Sunset long exposure at my favourite place the Friendly Beaches.

(Although there was a 3 yo running around during the shoot, not my kids) What I shot today.... I wont post the rest, this is probably the tamest that still gets the point across. The girl that did this is stunning, really really just gorgeous. She is the one in the other 2 pics I uploaded today.

"Cautiously i enter the officer's chambers. The relentless tidal wave I had perceived time to be slows down and the mere seconds it takes for my eyes to adjust to the light, seem to last longer than the 80 hours of solitary confinement earlier this winter. Electricity has been down for days this time so, even the higher ranks make due with candles and oil lamps we get from the locals. This place is dark and humid. The lingering smell of rusty cigars welcomes me in to a shadowy room. On the far left I can just make out the silhouette of a man holding a wineglass, gazing out of the window seemingly unfathomed by me entering his surroundings unannounced.

With each step I take I can feel the current of my blood flowing through my veins, forcing the ever thickening liquid in and out of my already failing heart and throbbing arteries."

This wee Yorkshire Terrier was at the bar in Meikleour this morning.

We just locked in a weekend camping with friends at Lost Lake next spring, and I can't wait. One of my favorite views of the mountain and an all around gorgeous area.

As Sarah is here, I look forward to soaking in this view of Mt. Hood's NW face, and of course making a few photographs.

There are several of these Egyptian geese living in Valentine's Park, Ilford. I counted five on my walk through the park, and there may well be more. This one showed no fear - he was one of a pair which came up to me from a couple of hundred yards away while I was standing watching a woodpecker. They then seemed quite content just to stand next to me, and if I walked away from them they followed. Sadly for them I didn't have any food to give them! D800_35449.NEF. This little one would not leave me. Landed on me and stayed there for a long time while we fished. It's hard to take a picture when the butterfly is ON you. 😄
