Even though the Southern Pacific was known as the friendly, crews along than the Sunset Route still lived up to the name even though the company changed and I'm not a "unauthorized rider", all the road crews and local for that matter out of Tucson were more than interested to see someone out shooting. These guys saw me the day prior at Mescal oddly enough on this trains counterpart albeit an extra, and were laying on the horn and waving accordingly. The same applied here later in the afternoon after a solid morning of rest before hitting the rails again for a evening run to El Paso, Texas.

Remaining in colourful yet grubby Colas colours, Class 60056 hauling the Liverpool Biomass Terminal '6e09' Drax Power Station loaded biomass hoppers, hands me my second GBRf (Colas void) livery variant on my final day of a pleasant week in the North West.
Even though it’s only just gone 10:00a.m. the month of June offers some pretty harsh lighting.
However, having only five days to tick off this location I wasn’t going to turn down the temptation of two Class 60’s in a ten minute spell with Class 60062 also passing in identical conditions.
So why does my brain start playing the Jaws Movie Theme tune?

One of the menagerie who find ideal living quarters under the barn. Birds, snakes, stray cats, chipmunks, woodchucks, skunks, raccoons, porcupines, foxes, and of course horses and cattle, have all found refuge there.

A friendly stop of sunlight and 1950s setting. A happier place to have a cup of coffee would be hard to find. The owner greeted us the moment we walked in the door. I like that kind of place.
