A place our gently used books either from discards or donations help us raise monies through our "friends of the Library". This little nook is located at the central branch on the adult floor.

Friendly . . . aggressive, it's all in your point of view.

After slogging through China proper, we are now in the glorious Chinese Tibet region. Not the country of, but we are following the overland route to. This is the region of China where the Tibetans actually live, usually in a highly traditional way. These two, are so beautiful and were thrilled to get their picture taken...in fact they insisted!

Coots are fairly common in NJ, but they are usually also hard to get good shots of - exposure is tough, particularly with their anti-photography shields (or is that just me), and getting close is tougher. But in Vancouver, they were a whole lot friendlier - I guess it's something in the water up there.
