Are they friendly to us, do you think? -- The Road to Oz by Baum, L. Frank

The original obelisk was made of bronze and installed about 1859. It was stolen by horse packers. This is the replacement.

This little guy wanted in on all the action, he just wanted to play with us, it was the cutest thing. My son Reece loves all bugs and animals, for some reason they gravitate towards him! Unfortunately he is allergic to everything, so we can not have pets in our home. So when I see him enjoying little moments like this with little critters it just makes my heart smile because he is just so happy!

This sweet, little chipmunk kept hanging around & posed for me to get a few shots!

"The Friendly Giant is a popular Canadian children's television program that aired on CBC Television from September 1958 through to March 1985. It featured three main characters: a giant named Friendly (played by Bob Homme), who lived in a huge castle, along with his puppet animal friends Rusty (a rooster who played a harp and lived in a book bag hung by the castle window) and Jerome (a giraffe). The two principal puppets were manipulated and voiced by Rod Coneybeare." - Wikipedia

The Friendly Arm

As promised after the last poll, here is another

beautiful small castle 1 discovered during my trip

across the French countryside. The spectacle of

the golden foliage in the first light is simply

magical, and these picturesque villages are like

something out of a romantic painting or a fantasy

novel. I hope you're enjoying my new

photographic journey

A friendly goat at the Jefferson County Fair.

Initially these cows were up the top of the hill. I’d hoped for a lovely shot of the mountains with the cows in the foreground. As soon as I hopped out of the car to snap them, the entire herd came running down to the fence and ruined the shot Just outside of Methven

We found this donkey walking around Vrika beach, Anti Paxos, one day, very happily sniffing through all the bags, whilst we were swimming in the sea - clever ploy!

When the friendly monsters are bigger than your problems, you have nothing to worry about . :)
