The Friendly Arm
As promised after the last poll, here is another
beautiful small castle 1 discovered during my trip
across the French countryside. The spectacle of
the golden foliage in the first light is simply
magical, and these picturesque villages are like
something out of a romantic painting or a fantasy
novel. I hope you're enjoying my new
photographic journey
The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) is a nationwide effort involved in rescuing domesticated/ captive wild animals. Edwin Wiek still heads this project with the help from a team of full time staff, mostly from the local village, and a team of international volunteers who pay for their stay. One of their goals is to rehabilitate captive wild animals and release them back into the wild, repopulating forest areas in which they are already endangered or extinct.
I visited this incredible place today where the money you spend by visiting or donating is put back into rescuing and rehabilitating these wonderful animals.

This pod of Bottlenose Dolphins stayed with me and my buddy for more than 15 minutes as we were drifting in the blue just off of Wolf Island in the Galapagos. Certainly one of the best moments of my underwater life!

In April 2023, we had one of our Minimoons to North Devon. We had a place right on the beach. It was not a very sunny holiday, there was a lot of mistiness, a bit of drizzle, but as always, we found things to photograph.
I didn't do any swimming in the sea on this Minimoon, but I did have a few long walks along the vast Westand Ho! beach.

Railfan and photographer extraordinaire Dennis Livesey gives passengers a friendly wave as the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern fall foliage excursion passes Lake Hauto. Bringing up the rear of the train is observation car 30, the Glen Onoko Falls, where passengers are enjoying the rear platform to the fullest!
The brakeman (or fireman back then) waves as I photogrpah this train in 1974 at Griffith IN. I bet they didn't even bother to call me in to Homeland Security. Oops..I don't think there was HS in 1974.
This is a short video of my good garden friend :-) It lives in the garden of a house I have done the gardening in for about eleven years, so I have seen it's parents and the parents before that! I really look forward to my Thursdays! I had just finished the mowing on one of their lawns and he decided to want a chat! Out of an eight hour working day...I probably do six!! 😊
