"The Friendly Giant is a popular Canadian children's television program that aired on CBC Television from September 1958 through to March 1985. It featured three main characters: a giant named Friendly (played by Bob Homme), who lived in a huge castle, along with his puppet animal friends Rusty (a rooster who played a harp and lived in a book bag hung by the castle window) and Jerome (a giraffe). The two principal puppets were manipulated and voiced by Rod Coneybeare." - Wikipedia

I am a hippie, from 1969 untill now. Its never changed, I think, the real hippies, are a different human beeing, it has nothing to do with money, status, or drugs. Its just a state of mind, which could develop during the hippie times, when the world was changing, and we, the hippies, knew that we could change the attitude.
Then, the powergames began, the politicians became afraid, and the slaughterhouse started, and never stopped. I am accused of beeing unreal: hippies never judge, they are always right...:-)
The Friendly Arm
As promised after the last poll, here is another
beautiful small castle 1 discovered during my trip
across the French countryside. The spectacle of
the golden foliage in the first light is simply
magical, and these picturesque villages are like
something out of a romantic painting or a fantasy
novel. I hope you're enjoying my new
photographic journey

The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) is a nationwide effort involved in rescuing domesticated/ captive wild animals. Edwin Wiek still heads this project with the help from a team of full time staff, mostly from the local village, and a team of international volunteers who pay for their stay. One of their goals is to rehabilitate captive wild animals and release them back into the wild, repopulating forest areas in which they are already endangered or extinct.
I visited this incredible place today where the money you spend by visiting or donating is put back into rescuing and rehabilitating these wonderful animals.
