I quickly jumped from this location because the train was way more menacing than I anticipated. Of course, even in my new location, I would have still been trainsplat had it derailed.
Just seconds after he clears, 206 gets the Green Light to cross and continue north for Jax. The industry track off to the right serves Omni Transloading and Logistics which is served by the Downtown Job on most weekdays. If a Live Railcam is ever seriously considered for Iris, Omni would make for a great hosting candidate due to it being mere feet away from the diamond. In the weekend of 23 and 24 January the Betuweroute was closed due engineeringwork in Germany. All the freight trains were diverted via the Brabantroute. A great oppertunity to spot the freighttrains at Hulten, a smaal village east of Breda. On this picture the NS FLIRT 2524 is on its way to Gilze-Rijen, Breda and Dordrecht
In het weekend van 23 en 24 januari was de Betuweroute gesloten wegens werkzaamheden in Duitsland. De goederentreinen werden dat weekend omgeleid via de Brabantroute. Een goed moment om naar Hulten te gaan om de treinen te spotten. Op deze foto is de NS FLIRT 2524 onderweg naar Gilze-Rijen, Breda en Dordrecht.
410 passes outside the former Atlantic Coast Line depot here in Waycross. Built in 1911, today it houses the City’s Visitor Center, Chamber Of Commerce and offices for the Downtown’s Development Authority. Just like up in Cordele, Virtual Railfan also has some of their live webcams set up at the old Depot. One of which is visible next to the window below the Waycross Sign.
