Here I have used the 1.5" Digital Photo Frame Keyring without any modifying and it fit straight into the LEGO 1x6x5 panel. But I had to turn it 90 degrees sideways.

Ever had an idea stuck in your head and kept bugging you until it was done? Yeah, this was my little mental bug. I had a framing tool laying around so why not use it for a bit of fun.

Up-cycled Frame!
Here is a frame I up-cycled using a wood frame, photocopies of vintage rulers, hardware and glue, the project on my blog tomorrow!
An illustration for a blog post about half-frame film, from a while back:
women-and-dreams.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/olympus-pen-pony-...
It's basically the same as four-perf motion picture film, which is where 35mm camera film came from in the first place. Of all the small formats that came and went, half-frame is probably the easiest to process and scan nowadays - the frame gaps are in the same place as standard 35mm so photo labs just cut the negative as they would normally.
The images were all taken at the London Transport Museum. With Kodak TMAX 400, and obviously my metering (I shot with a manual-everything Olympus Pen) was decent.

The University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland's four ancient universities. It was founded in 1451. Along with the University of Edinburgh, the University was part of the Scottish Enlightenment during the 18th century. It is currently a member of Universitas 21, the international network of research universities and the Russell Group.
In common with universities of the pre-modern era, Glasgow originally educated students primarily from wealthy backgrounds, however it became a pioneer[citation needed] in British higher education in the 19th century by also providing for the needs of students from the growing urban and commercial middle class. Glasgow University served all of these students by preparing them for professions: the law, medicine, civil service, teaching, and the church. It also trained smaller but growing numbers for careers in science and engineering.
Originally located in the city's High Street, since 1870 the main University campus has been located at Gilmorehill in the West End of the city. Additionally, a number of university buildings are located elsewhere, such as the Veterinary School in Bearsden, and the Crichton Campus in Dumfries.
Alumni or former staff of the University include philosopher Francis Hutcheson, engineer James Watt, philosopher and economist Adam Smith, physicist Lord Kelvin, surgeon Joseph Lister, 1st Baron Lister, seven Nobel laureates, and two British Prime Ministers.
A little over two weeks in and our place is almost complete. Yesterday, I spent a good part of the day matting and framing 10 prints from artist Laura George, who we found on Etsy.com. We got the idea from Dooce, a site we both visit on a regular basis for her funny posts and creativity. She had done the same thing with family photos a while back and when we moved in and had this huge wall to fill, Stacy thought this would work out great. So, we headed over to Etsy, started searching the different artists we liked, figuring that we'd have a mixture of talent displayed on the walls, but instead, fell in love with Laura's work and decided to go with 10 of her prints instead. In the end, the consistent style probably helps bring the piece together. So, I did a mock up in photoshop, laying out the prints where I thought they'd work best and viola, this is what we came up with. A few matte blades later, a little measuring tape action and this is the finished product. What do you think?
