Messaging and indoctrination in the program is that one had to "graduate" in order to be successful and earn their freedom. If one doesn't graduate, they're not considered to be successful and would fail in life. This framed message is a reminder of that.

birthday gift last year, got inspired by seeing fabric frames at Anthropologie and decided that I could make some for gifts, but then I had to create a collage in photoshop to go in the frame. I never take the easy way out.
Trying out the "Create" section of my P/S Element 7 software pgm. There are lots of samples of different frames to place around your images. I have posted a few I played with as examples.
Attempted to pick frames that best suited the image... not always a good solution. Some are neat, some are way to far-out!
Church of St Withburga Monument to Miles Armiger, Alabaster, Workshop of Nicholas Stone, 1639
The wall monument is set on the south aisle, in the same chapel as that to Meriall Coke and relatives. A conventional monument with a figure kneeling at a prayer table, with a skull at his knees, it is framed by black Doric piers, which support a curved arch decorated by consoles supporting the cornice with the coat of arms. Miles Armiger kneels on another cornice with the prominent black inscription, whose size allows for a lengthy account of his family, and noting that he died in 1639, a bachelor. He was the second son of William Armiger and Anne Mansuer, and was probably buried here because his sister, Anne Armiger, had married Anthony Wheatley, then of Hill Hall Holkham, included in the centre of the Monument to Meriall Wheatley with her husband John Coke; to William Wheatley, his wife Martha Skinner; Anthony Wheatley, his wife Anne Armiger.
A frame made up of about 122 2 inch x 1.75 inch rolled comic book section. Once glued to the frame, it was sealed with Mod Podge. The sides and the back were covered bits of comic art.

Producing Technique: Method of subtracting from model wax was utilized. After casting 9mm Semi precious stone was placed in the setting.

Just discovered this while changing a gear cable. Appears to be the same crack as suffered by other white Pug owners. The resulting paint failure was obviously some time ago, as there's evidence of corrosion beneath the paint :o(
This weeks project was framing and composition. I feel like I was successful with achieving this by using the flowers but also the water to frame her face as the focal point. I also used composition by the placement of flowers surrounding her face as well. I took this photo by stealing flowers from my mom and neighbor and having my friend get in my bathtub. In photoshop I turned the photo black and white because I feel like created more serene mood. I also darkened the water and increased the sharpness so each flower stood out. I wanted to try an unexpected view of framing, which is something I think I did well. But if I could take this photo again I would want to add more flowers but I would not want rip up my mom's garden
