Izzo's Chronicles #2 [Basic Frames]

- Considering silhouette, joint to pose, how to build more easily on Biped Mech.

Worked 2006-2008.

(Sorry about Japanese text.)

Someone called these as "Izzo Style" or "Izzo Frame". Would be so happy to hear that and hope these help someone's MOC.

A collage of three frames. It gives you a good idea how bright fireworks can be. These were shot handheld after I'd read some tips on the Internet. I used the "nifty" 50mm lens and a monopod. Camera settings were ISO1600, f/2, 1/125 of second.

Usually you get a lot of smear with fireworks due to using low ISO and slow shutter speeds. You see something quite different when you freeze the action a little.

Day 32, Month 2: Colour

Boat houses, Oriental Parade Wellington. This month's challenge will literally be a challenge, because I usually prefer to shoot B&W!

An ongoing project of curating original art work in the public space. Members of the collective send framed works to one artist, and that artist installs the works on the streets.

The lovely Lych Gate of All Saints Church in Enford frames the leaded windows behind. It is believed that there has been a church here since the 11th Century. The Lych Gate is also the parish war memorial which names those who made the supreme sacrifice and also of the sacrifice made by their families.

In the new Mobile Frame Zero game that's in the making (you can find it on kickstarter), there will be mobile frames fighting alongside spaceships. The frames don't have to be to scale with the ships, but they still have to be pretty tiny to not look out of place.

Taken seconds before a hailstorm... that was fun...

I've seen way better frames in window shots and tried to do the same. It's no way near to what I want, but hey, I am learning :)

Macro photography is one I most enjoy looking at and shooting, as it brings into view the tiny, amazing things you would normally never see. I am always drawn to close up/macro images so when I found Mike Moats and his "tiny landscapes" I knew he would be my inspiration for this week. As I was photographing a single yellow rose that has hung on against all odds, it began to lightly snow and this tiny snowflake landed and then quickly disappeared. I was so happy to have caught a moment in it's short life.
