The first time I did this was almost 10 years ago. It's still surprising satisfying, in a lame, geeky, stay-in-on-the-weekends-working kinda way.
Over the last year I have collected shells from a shore line here in Adelaide. I got to the beach to remember my mother. When I began this collection, I realised I wanted to display them rather than put in a box. My idea of having some box frames eventually developed in these final products.
Repainted a midnight blue. Currently in use and for sale as a jewelry display at Magpie, a handmade crafts store in Davis Square, Somerville, MA.
In the small park next to the Physic Garden. I don't know what was going on, but I got permission from the people taking their photo to take some myself.
Various coats of arms depicted in one of the church windows at Bebenhausen. Should I have left the frames darker as in the original shot, or does it add interest to be able to see more detail in the stonework?
I'll repaint the frames in yellow and green and white and navy. Throw out the prints and put my own stuff in. Kim was too fast with her note on the chinese one :) That's probably the only one I'll keep but I'll paint the frame yellow like the other frame I did. $38 for all of these.
