Made a flexible frame based on a Toa Metru's proportions, similar to the Toa Mata frame.

Portrait of a worker performing reconstruction of Maly Theatre (Moscow, Russia) before the start of the new season.

I was taking some architecture photos of famous Moscow theaters- Bolshoi and Maly for my portfolio when I suddenly noticed this worker painting the building. He was busy working and I took some photos of him but they all lacked smth. And when he stopped working, took a cigarette and turned away- transforming the whole scene into smth theatrical- an old statue, a smoking man and marble pillars like centuries between them.

This pocket-size Flemish Book of Hours was created in Bruges between 1460 and 1470. A heavy contingent of South Netherlandish saints in the litany helps localize its production. Although small in scale, it is notable for its abundance of illuminations, nearly thirty extant, by artists working in the style of the prolific mid-fifteenth-century Flemish illuminator Willem Vrelant. Three artists worked on this book. The best painted the full-page miniature of David Penitent on fol. 85v; an able artist painted the other two full-page miniatures; the historiated initials and minor decoration are routine. Several other Books of Hours in the Walters' collection are similar in style to this manuscript, exhibiting the characteristics of the Vrelant circle, notably W.177, W.179, and W.180.

The UAE’s latest cultural landmark, Dubai Frame is an iconic structure that ‘frames’ impressive views of Old and New Dubai, while serving as a metaphorical bridge connecting the emirate’s rich past with its magnificent present. Offering spectacular panoramic views across the city, Dubai Frame celebrates the story of Dubai from its early establishment to its ambitious plans for future development.

Interesting facts:

Dubai Frame measures 150 metres high and 95 metres wide.

Over 9,900 cubic metres of reinforced concrete, 2,000 tons of steel and 2,900 square metres of laminated glass were used in its construction.

More than 15,000 square metres of gold-coloured stainless steel covers Dubai Frame, which incorporates a ring design inspired by the Expo 2020 Dubai logo.

Dubai Frame’s rectangular design was inspired by the ‘golden ratio’ of 1.618, which many architects and artists believe forms an ideal structural balance.

The elevator to the Sky Deck carries visitors 48 floors in 75 seconds.

The building mainly serves as an observatory, providing views of old Dubai in the north and newer parts in the south

I like the form of a mOUlton Space Frame. Today its shadow fell clearly on the road.

she was just imitating me when I was trying to focus on her. a nice kind of interaction between the subject and the photographer.

image shows details of a Stiletto prototype acquired from the gentleman who put it together for Stiletto. Titanium head bolted via pin in the handle. This is one of very few produced, so very happy it fell in my lap. The original owner has been a wealth of insight into the world of the framing hammer.

Would consider this model almost priceless.

We spent about 5 hours shooting the handsome couple Joey and Jessica Young for their engagement portraits yesterday and came out with a LOT of great material. I hope to be sharing more of it soon but I'm afraid we are so busy that we'll only be editing the most important ones right off the bat. Anywho, enjoy. :)
