This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Frame. More like Frames! A healthy picture collection deserves a healthy frame collection. Some are store-bought, inherited, gifted and handmade. One is cracked and that is a story for another time. Now I get to remember where they went and put them all back! HMMM!
Walking through the forest I looked to the right and spotted this opening in the trees and bush towards an open area and the trees in the background. Looking through the view finder I was hoping that I would be able to use the surrounding branches and bush as a frame with the darker area in the front pointing towards the trees in the background and luckily it was possible!
Best buddies??? ... Time will tell ... They both have eyes on the prize ... Mini-sandwiches are just waiting for the taking on the deck ... Both guys are so close to the outdoor deck a short distance across the yard ... Who's going to win or will they both get a share????
Edited with a white matte frame.
Maybe I was framed.....but which one is the real me?
Totally swiped this shot idea from Kikicc Resident. She's amazing!

Another scene from my neighbor's location. Such a lovely place with gorgeous views all around! May you all have a peaceful, and wonderful weekend!
This bull moose was hanging out in some relatively dense cover, making it a challenge to get a shot of him in the open. He was also intent on fattening up for the coming rut and winter, so his head was down devouring willows most of the time. Finally, he raised his head while framed in a narrow opening. Click!
Roosevelt National Forest, Colorado.
Macro shot of winter frost formations on the enclosed glass window in my balcony! The evening sun light illuminated some of the frost patterns!
I´m enjoying a warm Finland where the temperature has been over 31 degrees celsius.
Greetings to all of you. I will be back in Sweden in the middle of August so will still be on/off for a while.
Happy MM!!
In a shot from the 2012 archives, it's a photo of California's Golden Gate Bridge for this week's Smile On Saturday theme: "Bridge or Viaduct."
One of California's best known landmarks, and likely the world's most photographed bridge, the structure spans 1.7 miles, crossing San Francisco Bay to link the city of San Francisco to Marin County, California. This view is from the San Francisco side.

Foggy sunrise at Corfe Castle, Dorset, England - and so the big reveal continues😀. As I was walking to see if I could get a slightly different angle with the foreground trees I spotted this composition with the framing element. Walked up and down a bit before settling on this spot!

Does she walk? Does she talk?
Does she come complete?
My homeroom homeroom angel
Always pulled me from my seat
She was pure like snowflakes
No one could ever stain
The memory of my angel
Could never cause me pain
Years go by I'm lookin' through a girly magazine
And there's my homeroom angel on the pages in-between
Halde Nordeutschland
The scree "Norddeutschland" (mining dump) based on the excavation material from the coal mines of Kamp-Lintfort and Neukirchen-Vluyn left side of the river Rhine. At the top of 102m (300 feet) by the so called hall house you have an amazing view eastwards to the lower Rhine region and the "Ruhrgebiet". There are also facilities for all kind of events.

Sukhothai Historical Park, Thailand. The many white egrets in the trees have found the perfect resting spot.
2C38 Worcester to Whitlocks End is momentarily framed in the arm of a Leibher materials handler as it deposits another bucket full of aggregate from 6G80 into one of the bays at the Cemex Small Heath terminal.
