This lamp was made for the PONCHO art event "Pinned to Poncho". It is a charity art auction where the artists involved all get an unfinished bowling pin and create a piece of art with it. The event is being held in Bellevue, Wa on June 26th 2008
An interesting bit of synecdoche: mouth, stand (with mike out of place), drumstick tip and hi-hat rod and clutch.
Found Objects Performing at Baked Tapes' Memorial Day Potluck Noise BBQ on May 25, 2009.
Some footies (FREE!) that I obtained from a discarded sports table while on an afternoon walk. If making the shelves wasn't enough, footies put the icing on the cake.
At last the secret is out, as it always must come in the end,
The delicious story is ripe to tell to the intimate friend;
Over the tea-cups and in the square the tongue has its desire;
Still waters run deep, my dear, there’s never smoke without fire.
Behind the corpse in the reservoir, behind the ghost on the links,
Behind the lady who dances and the man who madly drinks,
Under the look of fatigue, the attack of migraine and the sigh
There is always another story, there is more than meets the eye.
For the clear voice suddenly singing, high up in the convent wall,
The scent of the elder bushes, the sporting prints in the hall,
The croquet matches in summer, the handshake, the cough, the kiss,
There is always a wicked secret, a private reason for this.

5 exposures in RAW, converted to HDR in Artizen HDR and postprocessed in Photoshop. This room was VERY dark, fortunately it was a reasonably cloudy day outside. Just a collection of stuff left on a windowsill in an abandoned building at the former Alameda NAS.
it's my son, not an acutal panhandler, but he's holding a sign we found by the roadside in downtown Portland.
FOUND ITEM at the HUNKY JESUS CONTEST...it was fun finding a few things at the contest grounds, but it was MORE fun seeing other photographers capturing those LOST ITEMS ! ADDA wanted to tap them on the shoulder and say, "If you want views, go for the BARE CHESTS, if you want FOUND OBJECTS go to ADDA's non-view flickr set!" LOL
Some experimental new work. After seeing El Anatsui at NCMA, the grid concept kept haunting me. This is what I have thus far.This is after I put it together
Another little wall figure, maybe 9" tall and cut out of tins, part of a Victorian ceiling tin, found objects and a hydraulic press mistake. I do get a kick out of making these. The title is subject to change.

A new piece to my ever growing collection of art objects. This one is a departure from my normal taste, but I like clocks, so this one attracted my attention. By artist C. Warlitner.
The inspiration was to try and use materials that surround me. It made the journey so enjoyable for me. ♥
Materials: Found objects, hand made copper rivets, silver, aluminum, recycled LA license plate and Mexican tin.

The new studio space provides enough room to put this beautiful basin to good use, washing the pieces of glass and china I use in my jewelry and mobiles.
