Levin C. Abantius, aka the traveller is able to travel long distances through time and space. Trying to unravel the mysteries of life.
It’s a hard life for him, as he is merely an observer. It’s dangerous to mess with history as the changes to
the future are unpredictable. The older he gets, the more enigmatic he becomes, questions are raised:
why does he have a skull on his walking cane? And what do those 6 notches on it represent?

Finally, the first 'spring' flower is in bloom at Distant Hill Gardens! ( I got tied of waiting for the real thing, so I created one of my own.)
This sculpture at Distant Hill Gardens seems to be saying she was not ready for the first snow of the winter season... I totally agree with her. Still leaves to rake and wood to split.

I made a garden sculpture out of the inside of an old Baldwin piano. It turned out to be a great subject for some night time images that I took with a handheld LED light.

Her face closeup. I used metal screws to attach this piece of metal - the holes were already there in place for her eyes. Then over the two screw heads I glued the clear glass pieces. The silver actually creates more light for her eyes. Lucky break! the eyelashes are made from an old rusty bottle cap.
