Woohoo! My latest quilt, blogged here.

The spinning star block I printed didn't print out big enough (my fault!) so I added more white to the outside!

I am starting a Quiltalong for this quilt. Visit me at therootconnection.blogspot.com/ for template and tutorials

My first New York Beauty 4 block is completed. I have decided NOT to do the 6 blocks by 6 blocks, instead I am going to do 4x5 and then add the border from "Lady Liberty goes to Hawaii" - lots of points and curves. Vicki will love it (I hope).

The California Dreamin fabrics seem just perfect for a string quilt...and I do love to paper piece! To add some more color depth and varitety to the prints I have added fabric from the Hope Valley line and some Soiree. I love how they look together! Each quarter measures 8.5" unfinished so the finished block will be 16".

I have had this fun Hipster Fox by Janeen at QuiltArtDesigns sitting in my crafty patterns for a while now, am so glad I got him completed, I did enlarge the pattern as I wanted it for a baby quilt centre block. Think he turned out well and I see Janeen has a few more Hipster animals added to her pattern collection.

Quilt Box - Ongoing WIP

After trying to think of new ways to display the quilts I have made already I came up with an idea to make more. Folded quilts look pretty cool so will try to do it on a small scale. Will be making miniature quilts in between other stuff so I now can't complain of having nothing to make through the year.
