Thanks for the inspiration, Nilya!

Small tree from my scrappy tree quilt using the pattern Strippy Trees from the book Christmas with Possibilities.

This is my 12" block. It's also foundation freezer-paper pieced. The pattern is the 9 Patch Star block. I used another free pattern on Carol Doak's website to make it.

this is a miniature patchwork quilt (approx 35cm X 30cm) that I made for my mother.

It's based on the "Friendship Braid" pattern and made out of a variety of very small floral prints matched with a solid green quilter's cotton. It has cotton wadding and the backing is the same green cotton.

The patchwork blocks were foundation pieced onto lightweight interfacing and it was then machine pieced and machine quilted.

18" x 18" Quilt / Pillow

Just could not resist the effect of this pattern.

Lap quilt (approx 50 x 60in) made for one of the kindergarten eachers, using a batik jelly-roll. September 2011.

.More orange scraps became a second Courthouse Steps mug mat. I drew the lines on a piece of non-woven interfacing and used it to foundation piece the design, so my foundation stayed in rather than being torn off as it would had the foundation been of paper.

Free PP pattern. All the details and link for downloading are on my blog: shape-moth.blogspot.com/2011/06/tutorial-tuesday-4-peper-...

For personal use only.

Pattern available on Etsy: Beach Quilts

Beach scene quilt made for Australia Patchwork & Quilting, late 2011. Approx 34 x 44in. Blogged with more detail here: sampaguitaquilts.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/white-sands.html

This is the wonderful Double Ring of Geese block. It will be the center of my Pinwheel Sampler quilt. This block is special because the pattern is shared from Lynne, a quilting friend in England. Block made with permission from designer, Lilys Quilts.

Another 12" NYB block for my summer quilt. This is #8, many more to go.

Im pleased I finished this, I have to thank Lisa from www.quiltsbylisa.blogspot.ca/ as she posted her amazing Space Shuttle project, Lisa was kind enough to let me know where I could purchase the pattern which I should add was all done via the most generous Elnorac, big thank you to both you gals for your help. This isnt perfect and a bit of quilting will fix any imperfections, like any project we learn new things and I learnt, next time I will enlarge the pattern (thank you Lisa for that tip ) #paperpiecing #foundationpiecing
