Fine Art Landscape & Nature Photography for Los Angeles Gallery Show !
Will be busy printing and framing in nice large, matted formats and frames and museum glass! Five of these photos will be printed on 40" x 60" floating wall mounted metal sheets! I think I know which--will share photos of the photos hanging on the walls!
And I am mounting some on plexiglass/acryllic--front mounting them! Some I am printing on lossy fuji-crystal archival paper too, and then front mounting 40"x60" versions to plexiglass--will send photos!
The secret to HDR photography is that you want people to say, "Woe dude--that's unreal!" And not, "Dude--that's not real!" "Unreal" is the word they use when they're trying to figure out the photo--what makes it cool--is it a photo? Is it painted? How'd it come to be--how'd you bend the light that way? "That's not real," is what they say if you have the saturation/HDR/ etc. turned up too high. :)
Some (almost) final edits for my Los Angeles Gallery Show! Printing them on metallic paper at 13" x 19" and mounting and framing them on a 4mm 18x24 white mat and 2" dark wood frame. Also printing some 40" x 70" which is over three feet by five feet! Wish you all could come (and hang out with the goddesses)!

Aerotropolis is a photography project documenting the transformation of Taoyuan Aerotropolis near Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Spanning 4,500 hectares, it's one of Taiwan's largest developments, promising economic growth but requiring the relocation of 40,000 people. The photographer captures the haunting remnants of abandoned houses, preserving moments of a community disappearing due to progress.

Ferrotip de format 5x7 polzades, realitzat amb una Gundlach Korona View, fabricada entorn 1920-26; objectiu Plaubel Anticomar; col·lodió reciclat, revelador "estiuenc" amb sucre.
Les plaques de col·lodió es realitzen al moment, cobrint una placa de vidre o planxa metal·lica negra amb col·lodió i sals de cadmi i/o potassi, sensibilitzat amb nitrat de plata. Aleshores s'ha de fer la fotografia i revelar-la en uns 5 minuts, abans no s'assequi la emulsió. És un dels processos fotogràfics més antics del món, inventat el 1851, i que dominà fins el 1880. Però ara ha resorgit, ja que les imatges, molt treballades, que dona són úniques, màgiques i i irrepetibles.

Tintype in 5x7 format, made with a Gundlach Korona View, made c. 1920-26; Plaubel Anticomar; recicled collodion, developed with sugar "summer" developer, home made.
The collodion plates are made covering a glass plate or black metal plate with collodion and salts of cadmium and / or potassium, sensitized with silver nitrate. Then you have to take the photo and reveal it in about 5 minutes, before the emulsion dries. It is one of the oldest photographic processes in the World, invented in 1851, and which dominated photography until 1880. But now it has resurfaced, as the images, very elaborate to create, that it gives are unique, razor sharp, magical and unrepeatable.

Believe it or not, those rocks on the outer arm in the image have names: Sandeiði, Pétursker, Norðurflös, Klakkur, Bræður and Krókasker at the very end. They are labelled on the map.
