I thought I would use the whole image this time not the cropped version I love the empty spaces either side of the main subjects! I could have easily cropped to a square format !

Libre et sauvage depuis 30 ans ,(peut-être 40)sur ces formations rocheuses où la reproduction a eu lieu cette année encore !Un vrai bonheur pour nous d'avoir eu la chance de l'observer ,cette fois entre ombre et lumière !

A rather elegant flower that I spotted in a local park last fall. Have a great weekend, everyone!

The regal moth (Citheronia regalis), also called the royal walnut moth, is a North American moth in the saturniidae family. The caterpillars are called hickory horned devils. The adult has a wingspan of 9.5-15.5 cm.

I don’t like sunny days and harsh light but I had a day off and had already planned to explore this part of Sandemar’s nature reserve.

A long exposure using a 10 stop filter to slow down time, provides a lovely cotton wool like texture of the sea.

Composite: The background of this photo is an infrared image I took with my Canon Rebel XT using a Canon EFS 17-85 lens. The pose is based on a publicity photo of Lon Chaney for a now lost movie "London After Midnight." The face is mine manipulated in Photoshop. It made a journey through many filters to appear as it is now. I entered a square format version of this in a Halloween contest by BenQ.
